that call me a “Hero, Inspiration and
Legend”
Some people are so
impressed and inspired
by my life, adventures, and works that they've called me a
“hero", “legend”
and
"inspiration"! Extremely few people in life get the honor of
being called a “hero” or "legend", even among
successful
people! Thus I think it can be argued that when one achieves
a status
where one is regarded as a hero/legend by some, and ridiculed/despised
by
others (e.g. the online hate forum wooweasel),
that that person has achieved SIGNIFICANCE. (gee
ain’t I
modest? :))

Nobody can understand you and your noble quest unless they have lived
in

i've been feeling
exactly that.
this is
why, no matter how much money i
am making in sales, i've
noticed i simply work
LESS
and LESS. this is
because i'd
rather be watching a movie or reading a book on film, acting,
screenwriting,

everyone, "if life is just about working to
survive, as far as i'm
concerned, my life is OVER. if
there is no dream to live for, if i
am NOT living for my dream, there is no life, no purpose. i'd
rather be a poor starving screenwriter, than
making millions doing finance or something i
could
care less about. my
father is 70 years old. i'd rather spend the
next 10 years
having quality time with him and figuring the money out later, than
flushing my
years down the toilet NOW, trying to work 80 hours a week, for nothing!
-just to go from the day to day.
that's
simply NOT me."
i've been in a
state of depression, but it's leading me to the
new spiritual re-birth you described. i'm
supposed to be an artist. an
actress. a writer. NOT a
sales girl. NOT working in the corporate
world. that's not me. and i
feel i am withering on
the vine
every single day i have
to do it.
about the cd: at the gym with my walkman, i
managed to access SOME of the rest of the numbers, though not all. i
looked online and a brand new cd,
with shipping, is only about 10 bucks. i may just purchase
a new one.
nevertheless,
the stuff you recommend, winston,
has always managed
to utterly CHANGE MY LIFE. thank
you for being an inspiration. you
will never know how much it means to me!!!

I'm
an old
& white expat
living in the
that
after reading
this I'm rooting for 'The Legend'
too. I've met
good
& bad
Filipinas and good & bad Filipinos. I've also lived in
several
other
countries around the world, and guess what? They all
have
good &
bad people of both sexes.
As
for
Filipinas treating Asians better than whites, isn't it the same
everywhere
that people
naturally relate more easily to their own kind?
This
doesn't
cancel out the many happy mixed-race exceptions to the
rule,
and it
doesn't stop any new foreign arrival from quickly making
Philippine
friends here.
I
get very
bored with expats who
complain all the time. I'm not
rich
but
I live within
my budget and I love it here. Sure there are some
problems,
but can
anyone name even one country on this entire planet
that
doesn't have
any problems?

clinical depression
feeling like I'm wasting my year after college and its honestly giving
me hope browsing your photo collages and seeing that happiness is
definitely possible, no matter who
you are. I feel
like I used to be
like you once-- more risk taking, etc.... but after living in LA, I
think I'm more afraid of taking risks now than I used to be (I'm now
back on the east coast in Boston, thank God, but life isn't nearly as
exciting as it used to be-- when I'd travel Europe, Grand Canyon, etc.
