Hi. This is Winston Wu. I created this page for anyone who wishes to check or verify my reliability, integrity, or trustworthiness through third party sources. As a debunker and exposer of BS (see my index of articles), I know that talk is cheap and that anybody can say anything, including the worst of the worst. So I believe that a person ought to be able to back up what they say with some good evidence, rather than just expecting others to take their word for it. Since I never believe a stranger’s word alone, I would never expect you to do so either. I respect your intelligence and common sense, and will not insult it.

I’ve been burned too many times, and I’m sure many of you have too, so no smart person should believe everything they hear from everyone. Common sense must be exercised. And of course, it always helps to be a good judge of people.

So if you’ve never heard of me before, what I can offer you at this point are sources and references that you can check to verify me, both from my site and from others. I hope they will serve as “good signs” and pluses to you, which is what I look for in others as well. Here is a list of them, with links and sources for you to look up.

Ebay

I have been doing business on Ebay.com for years now, and have a 100 percent positive feedback rating from others, including from sellers with ratings in the tens of thousands. Anyone can verify this by looking up my Ebay user name “WWu777” on Ebay’s main site at www.ebay.com. In fact, you don’t even have to be a member to view a user’s feedback rating. Travel Accommodation Exchange Websites

For a few years, I have been using free accommodation websites like www.hospitalityclub.org and www.couchsurfing.com during my travels, and have hosted other travelers as well. These sites also have feedback systems where you can check a member’s trustworthiness. I have many positive comments on both profiles that you can see. You can check the nice comments about me on my couchsurfing.com profile by looking up my user name “WWu777”. Here is the direct link. Look at the bottom right corner of the page. But on the hospitalityclub.org site though, only members are allowed to view other’s profiles. My user name there is also “WWu777”. You will see over a dozen nice and interesting colorful comments about me there.

Credit Rating

As you might know, in the US prospective employers usually screen candidates by checking their credit rating, which is considered a measure of responsibility and reliability. Retailers do as well when they need to decide whether to extend credit to a consumer or make a contract with them to pay by installments. So, if you wish to do and have the means to check a person’s credit rating, through bureaus like Equinox or whatever, you can check mine as well, under my name “Winston Wu”. There are also some online services to check a person’s credit rating, but I think they charge a fee. You will see that I have an excellent credit rating (evidenced by all the regular offers for new credit cards I get in the mail!).

Established Reputation as a Champion of Truth
