My basic problem with the Val 23 episode was the fact that Frank, the paraplegic, had felt ashamed/guilty of having boinked her. And then, they had that cheesy premise of Nancy Allen's character, reading Descartes, as if the average AW physical therapist would causally study philosophy, outside of a mandatory school assignment.

It's more likely that Frank would be discussing philosophy with a male colleague, while having close to zero women, interested in him in the real world. Thus, he'd be more than happy with Val riding his Pony Baloney.
