Aren't you and Winston of east Asian origin? Aren't you deeply offended that east Asian arts like Qigong, Tai Chi, Meditation are relegated to the works of the devil?
I am of east Asian origin, and no I'm not offended. In fact, those Christians who say that those arts are the works of the devil are right. If you are a practitioner of any of those arts, you need to stop now.

Ok, for Winston or zboy ... are east Asians like Gadfly, a bunch of white man's b*tches, for hook line and sinker, throwing away some of the treasures of your ancient civilizations? I mean there are even white Christian types, who practice those things, w/o the devil label.

If an Asian can easily be coerced into throwing away some of his heritage's treasures, just to be accepted to some born again group, what does that say?

This is why Christians can't be taken seriously. Video games release a portal using a "third eye" to contract demons? Really? That sounds like something I'd write in one of my fiction stories. I tend to be more sci-fi but I can get high religious fantasy once in a while. Jeez, people.

Since I'm not on good terms with BM, I won't respond to him directly.

As for the focus on the brow region, a.k.a third eye, it can open up areas known as transmediumship but still, those could still be your silly patron saints and so forth, not just the devil and his minions. Both types of spiritual channelings aren't healthy for an independently functioning person.

So while I'll act like my shit doesn't stink and bring PMs into the spotlight as if people worth a damn care, I will remain in a passive-aggressive state of near-stupor and continue speaking sideways about people who have done nothing to me but bruised my ego.

Ppl, why are you ranting about video games? For the most part, a lot of adults, had stopped playing 'em by the age of 13-15. Really, it's more or less, complaining about the excess of information technology in ppl's day to day life.

What about Christians saying that Qigong/Tai Chi are the works of the devil? Because they provide a way of betterment, without formally accepting Christ as one's savior.

If anything, you should be railing against Christian mainstream types on those issues, not something as banal as video games.
I don't know if Qigong/Taichi are Satanic or not. Or martial arts in general for that matter. Some of the Christians in that video I posted claimed that martial arts is Satanic because it teaches you seek your power from within, thus making yourself into a God, rather than from Jesus and God's word. They don't seem to like anything that teaches you to find inner power, because it is an act that tries to put yourself above God. Yes that is kind of narrow minded. However, who is to say whether it's true or false? I cannot see Satan or demons, so I cannot know if they are working behind things like martial arts or not. We can't know either way.

However, the Bible says that you shall know if something is good by the fruit it bears. So going by that, I do not see any evidence that martial arts bears bad fruit. I also don't see why Qigong would be Satanic either. Qi is just energy in the body. Energy is in everything, it flows in our body for sure. That's a fact. Using Qigong to manipulate chi in your body can be good or bad, depending on how you use it I guess. Acupuncture also uses needles in meridian points to balance chi in your body and heal illnesses, which has been proven to work and is real. Even western doctors now admit it, which was featured on the BBC. Since Acupuncture heals and treats pain, then it is a good useful treatment.

Anyway, whether martial arts is Satanic or not is a different issue from video games. If you see the one hour documentary I posted above, you would see that yes, there is a lot of evidence and arguments that video games are not good for you. Especially considering the fact that most video games today are very violent. And there are studies that show that violent games and movies do incite violent behavior in people. Some have even committed crimes and murders after playing video games. And there is evidence that video games damage the frontal lobe of your brain. You should also see that clip from TED Talk of that female video game designer saying that if people played more online games, then they could solve world problems. Yeah right.

When I was a kid, video games were ok and not that addictive. Games in the 1980's like Pac Man, Dig Dug, Defender, Missile Command, Centipede, etc. were not violent or addictive. I only played one hour a day and that was enough.

Anyway, if you are interested in the truth, see the one hour documentary I posted above first, before jumping to conclusions. It's not intelligent to jump to conclusions first without examining the arguments and evidence on both sides. And you aren't qualified to comment on this topic if you didn't even watch the video in question.

Well the third eye is real. Science calls it the pineal gland in your brain. Didn't you know that? There are many articles and books about it. It's a real thing. Even neurologists know about it. You should not mock something you know nothing about. Also the occult is real and so is the spirit world. Have you read any of the best scholarly info on it? If you did, you would not be laughing or mocking such things. The greatest philosophers have all known these things. They were known long ago.
