I was wondering, would it be possible for me to obtain dual citizenship in another country? Would any of you guys reccomend it?

Yes and yes.

The US doesn't officially recognize dual citizenship, but you are legally allowed to have it. The only obstacle would be the new country not allowing you to keep your US citizenship should you get theirs.
