I read that earlier today

I think she did it as I do think Casey Anthony is also guilty. Young women get away with so much in this world it's unreal.

If she didn't kill her roommate than who did and why was her DNA all over the british girls body?

Yeah, look at the double standards when female teachers get caught having sex with young boys; Most of the time the female sex offender receives much less punishment than a male in a similar situation. Even the men are like: "what a lucky kid, how come these teachers didn't exist when I was younger?, etc. Reverse the situation around and what happens: all the females get are all up-in-arms and characterize men as "selfish" and "pigs."

This b!tch is as guilty as sin. I'm just glad she got 4 years in the slammer. Iif she was in the USA, they'd have acquitted her & she would have made millions selling feminist or marriage-guide books to Oprah's chocolate-eating audience.

I heard on the news that Amanda Knox could get up to one million dollars for doing an interview. She also might write a book and go around the country giving motivational speaking tours.

There you go...what did I say? I just hope they don't make her into the Mother of God and we all have to worship her. This is so sick, I'm speechless for once.

For any of you following the latest dramatic news, what do you think of her? She looks like she's a spoiled brat. Do you think she did it? I think she had something to do with it or she wouldn't lie. What if she's innocent?

Apparently, Perugia, Italy is a party town. British girls giggle while American girls are a little more aggressive, says this article.

Remember Amanda Knox? She was the American girl from Seattle who was charged with murdering her roommate in Italy a few years ago. Well, despite the overwelming evidence of her committing the crime, she was eventually found not guilty last year.

Guess what? She just signed a 4 million dollar book deal with publisher HarperCollins for a book she will write and it will come out in 2013. Also, she may soon start going on a book tour on shows like Dr. Phil, The View and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Here is more info on the book deal she signed.

I hate that trick. Western filth.

Just another glimpse into the worthless western justice system. Any just nation would've murdered/humiliated/maimed her as soon as enough people got notice.

At first it seemed it was an open and shut case. Have you actually spent the time to read the Italian court's findings about her prosecution?
I am thinking NOT. I thought she was as guilty as sin till I actually start reading about her case. She likely would have never even seen trial
in the USA. The prosecutors manufactured evidence, left the crime scene unsecured for long periods of time(weeks) and their supposed DNA evidence was Knox's DNA (she was a roommate ) found on the scene, which was "selected, despite the confirmed presence of DNA from two unknown males, who's identity is unknown to this day. The prosecutors were and are, fecklessly incompetent and corrupt.
The Italian appeals court's findings about the prosecution were scathing. This is not a case of some rich family using their influence. Her case about
bankrupted her family- her grandmother mortgaged her house to help pay legal expenses.

All this, in a country that is prosecuting some seismologists for failing to accurately predict earthquakes- I kid you not.
I think Knox was a promiscuous ho, but murder cases should be decided on evidence, not personal dislike of the defendant.

Outwest, why bother doing that? The entire western world is on the stake for a reason.

Italian court orders retrail of Amada Knox for murder

(Reuters) - Italy's top court on Tuesday ordered a retrial of American Amanda Knox and a former boyfriend for the murder of British student Meredith Kercher, re-opening a case that prompted harsh criticism of the Italian justice system.

Kercher's body, with more than 40 wounds and a deep gash in the throat, was found in the apartment she shared with Knox in Perugia in 2007.

Prosecutors accused Knox and Raffaele Sollecito of killing the 21-year-old Leeds University student during a drug-fuelled sexual assault.

The two were initially found guilty and sentenced to 26 and 25 years in prison respectively after a trial that grabbed world attention and drew stinging censure of the investigation by independent experts appointed to review evidence in the case.

In 2011, their convictions were quashed after forensic investigators challenged scientific evidence in the original trial. They were released after four years in prison and Knox returned home to the United States.

On Tuesday the Court of Cassation added a further twist by overturning the acquittal, accepting a request from prosecutors and Kercher family lawyers for a retrial, which will be held at a court in Florence.

"This is an important day for the Italian justice system," Kercher family lawyer Francesco Maresca said outside the court.

Knox said the decision was "painful". The prosecution had repeatedly been revealed as "unfounded and unfair," she said in a statement.

Her lawyer Luciano Ghirga said outside the court it was unclear if she would come back to Italy for the retrial.

Knox, dubbed "Foxy Knoxy" in many early media reports, was initially portrayed as promiscuous and dishonest but a lobbying campaign by her family helped change perceptions.

She returned to her Seattle-area home after she was released from prison in Italy and had been scheduled to speak publicly about the trial for the first time on American television in April, when her book of memoirs is also due to be released.

I guess she won't be traveling around the US giving speeches, she has more important things to do, like getting retried for murder!

murder!

If you were informed about the US legal system, you would know that one cannot be tried forced to stand trial twice for the same crime. Consequently it would be very unlikely that the US would extradite Knox to Italy, so a retrial would take place with her not actually being in Italy.

Keep in mind that Italy is a place where scientists have been successfully prosecuted for failing to predict an earthquake.

Amanda Knox found guilty of murder

A clearly emotional Amanda Knox said this morning that she "couldn't believe what I was hearing" as she watched the Italian court declare her guilty of murder and sentence her to more than 28 years in prison.

"It really hit me like a train," she told Good Morning America's Robin Roberts. "I did not expect this to happen. I really expected so much more from the Italian justice system. They found me innocent once before."

Knox's voice quavered and she paused at times as she struggled to maintain her composure.

"I will never go willingly back to the place where … I’m going to fight this to the very end. It’s not right and it’s not fair," she said.

Knox spent four years in an Italian prison after being convicted murdering her English roommate Meredith Kercher in Perugia, Italy, where they were both students in 2007.

She was freed when an appeals court threw out the conviction in 2011, but Italy's supreme court ordered the case retried and an appeals court found her guilty Thursday. The court sentenced Knox to 28 years and six months in prison.

Amanda Knox's roommate was murdered in 2007 and Amanda Knox's blood and DNA evidence was at the scene of the crime. It looks like the Italian appeals court got it right this time.

Knox said today that one of her first reactions after hearing the verdict was, "Oh my God, Raffaele... He is vulnerable and I don't know what I would do if they imprisoned him. It's maddening."
Oh, idk, go write books or give interviews or some ish.
Followed by marrying some fanboy, squeezing out a kid or two and "moving on" with your life.
