Teaching English without a Degree?

Post by Tonitrus » October 20th, 2011, 12:39 am

I know this is a question that has spawned much debate on TEFL forums but I thought I would ask here. I have always heard that to teach English abroad having a degree is required but is this really the case? What if you just have a TESOL degree but not a Bachelor's? The reason I ask is because I don't have a Bachelor's but I really want to teach English in Asia (specifically in China or Thailand). I would be willing to get a TESOL or some other form of accreditation if necessary.

You can buy fake degrees and a fake transcript of your classes off the net or on Kho San road in Bangkok, tons of teachers use them.
