Anglo Emasculation - Insecurity, Paranoia, and Puritanism

Postby The Arab » Sat Jan 21, 2012 4:28 am

As a keen observer of human societies and culture-specific social constructs, this thread is about Western club/bar social dynamics and the almost invisible social mores that regulate them and the group psychology in effect

First, some observations. What is the typical bar/club scene ? People go together in groups, drink to loosen inhibitions, act like they don't normally act, while watching and observing each other and everyone else. Clubs, add dancing. Definitely a booze-driven artificial atmosphere.

But what irks me is this .... they don't act this way in day to day life. It seems Anglos need to drug themselves every weekend like drugged hamsters, just due to the sheer antisocial nature and fear of genuine interaction with strangers, the ice shields, the pretentions, the insecurity. It's almost like interacting with mental patients, and everyone acting how they think they should act in the present of similarly inebriated fools. "Game", "wingmen", "hitting on" .... I'm all ok with that, but why are you only restricted to meeting women in commercial establishments when drunk and in the company of drunk friends/acquaintances. The schizoid puritanical society is bonkers.

I see fools stumbling around at 2 AM every weekend in the streets like idiots, and I have never been able to understand the bar/club culture (to me, there is only one purpose, find a slut and f**k her, as I don't drink, think dancing for the most part is gay, and have varying degrees of disgust for bar/club patrons.) It's like a sickness. Anglos are so repressed they can only talk to people when drunk and let out their inner feelings when drunk. How can you actually talk to and respect odd repressed people like that ?

I honestly don't understand the "let's get wasted and post duckface photos on FB" culture.

What is obvious is the definite fear Westerners have of not being in a group or being alone. The insecurity and nervousness in their faces and body language just bleats for attention, and I believe this is a cultural more that makes people feel insecure and have to be seen to be in a group and having fun, or feel left out.

Even though bars/clubs are popularized as places to meet people in popular culture and in movies, in reality in most places it's just groups socializing within groups, in a non-inclusive way.

I even see Westerners afraid to go and eat on their own, and have paralyzing fear of being judged by others. It's like westerners have a lot of fear and care about what people think about them and if they measure up.

This fear is palpable and noticeable and really defines the society.Everyone is judging, and being judged. Comparing and contrasting.

The artificial nature of a lot of social gatherings is what sticks out in the West - not like in more socially-developed nations where hanging out is relaxed and non-judgmental. People simply do not know how to talk to each other as people, instead, are constantly guarded and in an almost constant state of to say and do, or not say and do, what the group expects them to.They like to think of themselves as "individualists", when nothing could be further from the truth -- most are fed manufactured consent, and are disconnected and lost and don't know they are.

Honestly .... it's like the flip side of fundamentalist Islamic regimes like say Iran or Saudi Arabia. Large numbers of sexually disenfranchised men characterize Anglo culture and an inherent but now firmly established misandric Anglo flavor of feminism and it's destruction of the nuclear family, marriage, and healthy gender relations has created a generation mainly made of emasculated, brow-beaten, confused, lost mercenary men, and on the other extreme, douches and fake players and bad boys.

You're kind of a shithead most of the time Arab, but you do type up some insightful pieces. If you want anglo culture broken down further into psycho-social analysis you should read some Richard Dawkins. Most notably Selfish Gene. He talks about base animal behavior and the extent male and female groups tend to go for attraction.

Despite its faux sophistication anglo behavior has been reduced into generalized base instinctual acts. Dawkins (an Englishman at that) in his own roundabout scientific way points the similarities out when it comes to in/out group behavior in Anglo culture and the animal kingdom. I could mention some of the things he said but it's better if you just pick up the book and read it yourself. It's great stuff.

I also think anglo culture as a whole suffers from the "man on top" syndrome. It's been 400 years or so of relatively good times. 18th century to the near present. English speaking Anglo Societies have developed extreme entitlement and exceptionalism complexes. Feminism is just another form of extreme entitlement that has been warped from legitimate good principles regarding the social contract and egalitarianism.

I'll read up on it .... I recommend everyone read "The Garbage Generation", it's available free here :

Also, recommend checking out the blog "Anglo Bitch", thought the blogger can get unnecessarily wordy and has a convulated writing style.

Holy smokes what great stuff! Anglo societies are repressed and anti-social. I have never understood the "bar scene" where women just go to hang out with their friends and are scared shitless if a guy approaches them.

I assume women go to bars and clubs to meet men. Apparently a lot of them don't! So how in God's name are men supposed to meet women in the USA?

Nice analysis of the goings on in "social" establishments in the US. It is very cliquish and insular out at night, and even if you establish rapport with a girl, her clique will try to distract or pull her away.

Once in eastern europe, I was exchanging glances with a girl and I approached her from some small talk. Her english was not great, but she understood enough. After a minute or so, her fat friend interjected and said, "She's with me." When I shrugged my shoulders, she replied, "I lived in the states for 2 years." That mentality was exactly what you were expressing in your post, and your post gave clarity to what the fat girl was getting at.

I also eat out alone often as I am on the road all the time. Hostesses seemed shocked when I approach them for a table for one. I love eating out alone with the newspaper or a great view to behold. Americans tend to think that is perverse for some reason.

And if you think that is bad, try going to the movies alone and notice the reaction of the ticket clerk when you ask for one ticket. Usually they can't believe I said "one" and they have to clarify.

Here is part 2 of the series, "the effects of emasculation." This is awesome stuff and hit's the nail on the head regarding female privilege.

I agree on all counts Arab. And as for myself, I NEVER got into the bar scene either, because, in addition to the points you made, it always seemed like a very stupid and dangerous idea to ingest substances that would dull my senses/reflexes when I'm around a bunch of horny and aggressive men who I didn't know and are most likely criminals to various degrees.

It's even more stupid when women do it which is why I have little sympathy for women who are sexuality assaulted at house parties and such. I mean, it's ok to get drunk every now and then, but DO IT AT HOME where if you do pass out the only thing that's going to get on top of you is your cat! In other words, you have to put in some fail safe systems in place when you decide to do risky things.

I LOVE eating out alone, mainly because I'm not stuck with the burden of entertaining and organizing my life around the freeloading vulture called a female, so I can eat in peace and tranquility. I can also eat well because I can spend more money at the cheaper places that serve superior healthy food, opposed to the higher end restaurants that women like to patron that don't necessarily serve higher quality food.

In fact, this one place that I eat at alone all the time, the women who work there all comment on how good my food smells when I bring it up to the cash register. I can tell that they are a bit jealous (good!) because they are working hard all while I'm enjoying my food in the middle of the day carefree and relaxed. I might even throw in that I just came back from a massage place (a real massage place) and I'm feeling well rested to really anger them...lol

In fact, this one chick likes me and I'm sure she's going to try and get me to put her under her wing so she can quit her job and eat out multiple times a week in the middle of the day like me, but unfortunately for her little does she know that I want nothing to do with American girls.

Another video by 101principles. Filmed on a California college campus. Girls are white and Asian.

How can I understand them when all they're saying is "like like like, umm, like so like yeah like." :x

They look, talk, and act just "like" the girls on my college campus.

Guys definitely let women take control over like their lives, even with like a girlfriend
It just exudes you don't have like a backbone like confidence like mind of your own
Like why would you want to be in a relationship with like someone like that like
They want to make sure like they don't cross the line with a girl
I don't want like a guy to tell me to like sit down
He was like really chill and I didn't like that
Like in a lot of a girls subconsciously
They're like what do you want to do
I guess it's like kind of a guy's duty
He was like sort of like mellow
The guy has to, like
The guy's like
Like yeah
I'm like
