Mileage Running

Anyone here do mileage running with the airlines and frequent flyer miles? I read a few articles on it. Seems like a cool idea.

I use Delta Skymiles and my next flight to PI should be free. But I can't say I'm an expert and there may be programs that are better.

I also have an AmEx Blue card which gives you points you can use for any travel purchase (airfare, hotels, etc.). I like that system, and purchase all my airfares and stuff using it.

I would love to hear if any experts have better strategies.
