Indian men in Europe, what is the verdict?

In countries like France, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and such places, how do women generally view the idea of dating or doing it with an Indian guy?

For what it's worth, it seems like you would be more of a rarity in Finland than in Sweden or Norway or France (assuming that people might see you in the same general category as Middle Eastern, African, etc.).

Nevertheless I do know that swarthy Iranian-Armenians have a great time in Sweden. Probably you should start there, in Stockholm or Gothenberg. Norway and Finland are closeby.

I know plenty of Indian men who have been dated or even married with Western women. Their skin colour, dietary habits and family culture may or may not be everyone's piece of cake, yet at least in the UK many of them are undeniably smart, well educated and well spoken and, I would say a good percentage of them quite handsome.

I don't see why a woman shouldn't want to date an Indian man, especially if he's steeped in international or cosmopolitan culture.

I was in eastern Ukraine in 2010 and there are lots of Indians studying there and they are from India and they date local girls. Many also trash them and go back to India leaving kids behind. Eastern Ukraine is full of Scandinavian looking women - remnants of the Swedish army that never went home. Local guys are mostly useless so women are not choosy or stuck up there. So, I guess that is one place where you can have it good.

Another thing that you will need to get used to when you go to a lot of those countries is that you are an American first, Indian- second ( or sometimes never). It is kind of hard to trash the insidious ethnic identity problem in the US and the way different Americans view themselves. In America they would call first generation Americans as first generation... Indians, Italians, etc. Weird indeed. The world sees US citizens as Americans. For example, Kennedy used to say how difficult it was to be ...Irish in America. If he went to Ireland, he would be called a Yank, not Irish. But this is so ingrained in America that people actually grow up thinking of themselves as this and that nationality while not having citizenship from that country and not even speaking the language and not even having ever been there and while they are just...Americans to the world at large. Or at least Americans first.

to the OP europe is a big place you should understand ukraine is very poor so its far far easier to get white women assuming thats what your after than in finland, norway 1st world european countries. in my experience with traveling and living around western europe i have not seen white girls hooking up with indian guys. obviously there are exceptions to every rule but overall i doubt you will find the conditions much different than in the united states or canada.
