I agree. When your back is to the wall, there are only 2 ways you can go: sideways or forward. In other words, you can't do any worse. Things were screwed up when obama got in yet they are even worse (so much for rectification). The permits for drilling for oil have gone down after he took office (yet he tells folks that he's for drilling. blatant contradiction). Romney's running mate made a fact in which Biden laughed at. "Don't spend, don't borrow, and lower taxes dramatically." It has happend in the past. Take 1920 for example. The economy was in shambles. Moments from a depression. That's when 2 guys got together and decided to do the unthinkable (at that time). They figured what they were doing surely isn't working. So they did the complete opposite of what they were doing. They cut spending/borrowing and dropped taxes by a whopping percentage. The result? The economy recovered within a little under a year and an additional couple of months the economy was better than ever! Anyone who has read history knows this. Hell, it's even written in the Art of War that taxs should be kept at an absolute minimum. 'unnecessary spending and borrowing is a no-no and high taxes never does the economy any good. I found it disgusting that biden laughed at what Ryan was telling him. And what Ryan said was a quote straight out of The Art of War. Any avid reader who has read Sun Tzu's masterpiece knows exacltly what I'm talking about. And if he IS an avid reader (and a non-violater) of the art of war's extraordinary critical principles, then we need to vote his a$$ in asap!!!!!!!!!!!jamesbond wrote:Since Obama took office, the unemployment rate has gone up and the national debt has increased by trillions of dollars. Why would anyone in their right mind vote for Obama to get a second term is beyond me.
His presidency has been a disaster. He will go down in history as one of the worst presidents in American history. His national health care law will increase taxes on every household in the US. Even poor people will have to pay more in federal income taxes come January of 2014, when his national health care bill becomes law.
The average family of four will have to pay $ 2,400 a year more in federal income taxes starting in 2014 to help fund national health care. In addition, payroll taxes will go up as well for everyone who has a job. All this in the name of national health care.
The recession offically ended in June of 2009 but the economy is still stuck in a rute because businesses are afraid to hire people because of the adddional tax burden they will be facing in a couple of years when his health care bill goes into effect.
There are more people unemployed or underemployed now than there has been since the great depression. Obama has done nothing to help this economy get moving again. He is your typical tax and spend liberal.
I am strongly supporting Mitt Romney for president. We need someone in the white house who knows how the economy works and knows how to be a real leader. Obama has shown that he really is in over his head, with his foreign policy record and his economic record. It's time for a change.
ps obama tried to argue against the fact that competition keeps prices low. Arguing with romney, who's been in business for a long time, makes obama look even more idiotic (you'll notice how folks tend to go to the cheaper gas station. The other gas station has to bring its prices down also - that is if it is to stay in business). That's just one of the many indications that the sob needs to go. Besides, just like a athlete/coach that can't get the job done - you get rid of his ass and get someone that can.
