That was when I was young and stupid. I had a prominent US member of this forum (no names made) spend an inordinate number of hours in the past 3 or 4 days explaining to me the social and dating scene in the US in great detail. Yet, despite the crash course, I (and even he) believe that your stance and that of some of your fellow members is grossly exaggerated, paranoid and exuding bitterness and gratuitous sexism. And then there's the overarching question: if AW are so bad, what are you doing still in the US?

I doubt you even know what my stance is, it's certainly not "paranoid".
I'm here because I work here and own property, it doesn't affect me. I don't bother them and they don't bother me. I live in the country, hardly see one.
But I'm not going to disagree with members when they complain, especially in the DC Metro area where the average chicky poo is driving a beamer, making 80k+ and has her nose buried in a phone to get her hourly self worth infusion from the Facebook orbiter brigade.
There are not PUA boards springing up all over the internet and because I'm paranoid.

I think you are paranoid in the classical sense, ie. you nurture exaggerated ideas. Lots of what you say is true and reflects reality to some extent. If your ideas were in vector space, I would say the angle is about right. It's the moduli (sizes) and perhaps the way you spin them, I am debating on.
You or anyone else doesn't bother me, or hurt me, or validates me. It's only sad though when I see men who embrace fellow men's "concerns", as you wrote elsewhere, only offering a nod and not helping with a solution. I thought the theme here is about being proactively working towards one's happiness, not towards everybody else's collective misery.

Look guys.
I truly do admire that someone like Ginger has the interest and courage to be here. Her sense of humor, intelligence, and friendliness all make this forum a better place, and her contributions are invaluable. Her perspectives and opinions are really one-of-a-kind. Also, both she and I are outside-the-box folks who don't fit in with peers in our own age group (early/mid 20's) - a valuable asset here.
Ginger, don't take all this personally. A lot of people are personally attacked on HA (including Winston, me, and many others), precisely because it's the Internet. And HA is actually tamer than many of the other Internet forums, where things get far wilder.
Another female member who's been attacked here (adria2789) is actually a super pleasant person to be around with (Yes, I've met up with her in real life).
