I have nothing against gays or transgendered people. I just believe having transgendered people in beauty contests only further confuses the gender roles in our society. This should not be accepted at all in my opinion...

First of all, he's ugly. It's hard to find attractive british REAL women in the first place, the fact that he's a guy is even worse. What next ? Nominate a goat for most Miss Universe ? English society is so full of decadent people and masses of idiots.

I absolutely am against gay people. People say what others do in their bedrooms or private life is their concern, but this misses one huge fact. Language is public. Once we accept homosexuality, it changes the messages people send whether they want to or not. It makes it a lot harder for guys to become friends without being thought of as gay. Happier abroad right? Guys in India or Middle Eastern countries can hold hands if they're friends and no one will question their sexuality. We rail against Feminism here, but LGBT Rights are just as much a part of it. That's the simple explanation. I used to think gay people could do whatever they want because it wouldn't affect me. Now I know better. This changed my mind:

What is this horse sh*t?

Postby djfourmoney » Thu Nov 22, 2012 10:13 pm

Confuses who? TS women would identify themselves when asked, but only when they believe you won't react like a moron who feels his sexuality is threaten by just speaking to one.

Judging by the handful of post thus far, a reaction to this was totally predictable. From non-acceptance to borderline homophobia.

Then the tenuous at best connection to the difficulty of largely Caucasian men feeling their pool of available women has been reduced, utter nonsense.

I can easily identify a transsexual and not with the typical big hands, big fore finger, Adam's apple nonsense either. Yet even if I was completely fooled, guess what? You are attracted to the visual appearance of a woman, that is a normal heterosexual reaction.

Men marry, have sex and bare children with mannish looking women all the time, nobody says anything. How do you know a random woman wasn't born inter-sexed or if she had transitioned at a young age with a supportive family; Adopted some children. Who would notice, and why should you care?

If some men accept manly looking women or even transsexuals as legitimate relationship material, who are you as men (I wonder at times) are to question this?

Again she's allowed to compete as a woman in a contest for women, I don't see the problem here.

This is funny because I know what REALLY happens otherwise. Despite all the hot air talk about transsexuals not being born a woman I would argue that the majority of TS are more feminine than genetic women, especially in Western/Anglo culture.

Gender Bending is widely accepted in SEA and South America, more so than in Anglo culture despite the deep Catholicism. This happen in Canada I believe it was last year (TS entering a female beauty pageant).

I guess you never heard the study where a majority of heterosexual men when asked to view some homosexual porn became turned on by it (hard on)?

Well it was over 70% of men that were excited by this, I guess next you'll try to link it to the shortage of women in Anglo culture.

No the act of Sex itself has a ton of ambiguity around it.

Happy Thanksgiving, no hard feelings just THINK before you speak (type), some of you sound like teenagers.

HA, Ancient Greece and Rome we're much more BUCKWILD than post-modern Western culture can even handle.

If it REALLY bothers you, you can move down to Alabama or Mississippi the two most intolerant states in the nation. If there is any "questionable" behavior it happens behind closed doors. If that's not an option, you can move to a small village in the Middle East usually ruled by intolerant orthodox Muslims who usually murder gay people on a regular basis. Same goes for a few Africa countries with either an intolerant Christian Fundamentalist controlled Government or the same intolerant and violent Muslim Government found in the Middle East.

This is why socially conservative White men (and some Black men) are in the minority. You could always copy the Duggars and worry about any of this.

WHAT?! I would call myself socially liberal in regards to legalization of drugs and prostitution, in support of gay marriage, and abortion, but even I am repulsed by this. Sooner or later, you're going to see a man win a Miss USA pageant and a women win a Mr Universe bodybuilding contest-totally ignoring the boundaries of gender that exists in all societies. But...who cares about traditional gender roles right?

What's wrong with intolerance? Society is made of intolerance. If we really practiced full moral relativism then there wouldn't be any laws at all. Frankly I think gays should have the rights and freedoms to do as they wish. That doesn't mean I won't recognize it as a detriment to society.

You seem to be having an instinctual repulsion, as well you should, but what is the logic behind it? For many centuries these were questions that need not be asked because the answers were self evident. Even the word "homosexual" did not exist until the 19th century. See how this becomes a slippery slope though? We let gays do what they want, then transexuals, then how about bestiality? It is very telling too that most transexuals choose to take on the form of another established gender. They are conforming to traditional gender roles; they are becoming gruesome caricatures of it. If they feel they are "trapped in the wrong body" then why can't they say things like, "I am really two people living in the same body" and justifying Dissociative Identity Disorder? Oh, that person doesn't need help, what wrong with him having a split personality? You're just intolerant. Transexuality is a mental disorder and we ought to treat it that way. The solution now is to carve out surgical wounds to look like the real thing, but it never will be. "I'm a dog trapped in a man's body. I'm going to get a tail surgically grafted onto me and facial reconstruction surgery to look like a dog. I will now walk on all fours and demand everyone call me Fido. Everyone who refuses to do so is intolerant and must be demonized." Argue the difference, moral relativists. Oh, did I offend you? Argue the difference.

She is more feminine than your average horse-jawed English woman. You know the joke about an Englishman walking into a pub- "Hey, nice horse! Actually, it's my wife."

How about bestiality?

These are much smaller in numbers, and they will not have as much clout because the numbers of gays are naturally double- (s)he and (s)he- so there is more activist power than in a he/she and it combination. With zoo-philes, the numbers are half since their dog, horse or sheep cannot become an activist marching, demanding protection plus contributing votes and donations to politicians. Well, maybe marching.

Numbers don't matter for activism. There is a much larger percentage of people who approve of homosexuality than engage in it. If the majority can be convinced, society changes. This is the problem with democracy.

This is an example of neuro-linguistic programming. Just like Winston says, Feminism is really Masculinism for Females, but it's called Feminism to fool people into supporting it without even understanding. This is a silencing tactic. They just want you to accept their opinion without giving it any thought. Everyone is intolerant. I am intolerant of murder and theft. Some people are intolerant or abortion and others are tolerant. There is nothing inherently wrong with intolerance. They just use the word to scare people into supporting them lest they be outcast as a hateful bigot. Social is another word that's become almost meaningless. It's used as an adjective that doesn't actually give real meaning to a word, but tries to make the listener support it. Social justice. Social planning. Social activism. If it's social it must be good for society, no matter what it is. This is a form of mind control. It's what fascists do. They use words to confuse people into supporting their position. They make it hard for anyone to voice dissenting opinions by changing the language itself. If you're anti-feminist, you must be anti-female. Well if you're on this board then it's likely you don't accept that position. So let's not get fooled by this "intolerance" crap either.

Men in general are not interested in beauty pageants, at least straight men aren't. Even so why would that bother you? Do you even watch Miss America, Miss Teen USA, Miss USA, Regional Contest, Mrs America or Miss Universe????

Are you saying all of a sudden it will be commonplace to see men in Bikini contest???

Gender Boundaries are already largely ignored, I guess you didn't see the movie Mr Mom??? I guess you haven't attended any sexually open events where all sorts of things happen.

Look its simple; If you want to have biological children you need to mate with a woman. Don't wanna get married? Don't wanna have kids? Great do whatever you want, just don't rape anybody and don't kill anybody, otherwise I could care less.

There's is no threat from Muscle contest becoming unisex that's Chicken Little nonsense. I guess you wouldn't fool with a woman who benches 200lbs and has a huge clit?

See, only bitch made men would let the sky fall on them. In other words, there are more important things to worry about than a transgendered person entering a beauty pageant. Being resistance too it, says more about YOU than it does society at large, just remember that. Its not shocking is it the loudest about fidelity and homosexuality; Cheat on their wives and hire "Pony" boys for junkets.... Especially among the politicians of America.

Notice both times a transgender woman enter a contest it was Canada and Great Britain, hmmm. America's religious overtones prevent that from happening mostly because of White men screaming the sky is falling if it happen and they were force by public opinion to allow transsexuals in Miss America or something.

*The truth is much progressive politics and laws have had to be FORCED on the Bible Belt more often than not.

The Black Church almost completely ignores issues of homosexuality forget transgender issues, to them it does't exist, Prop 8 ring a bell?

In other words you have a ton of resistance to stuff like this. Not even half the country allows Gay Marriage. How are you going to make the jump to gay men in speedos showing up at Miss Teen USA?

Boy that's reaching.

Where is it detriment to society? As you playing into the conservative narrative that children will be shown books with key people being gay inside them?

I look at it as a positive. We identify gay or bi-sexual people early in development. We are also teaching tolerance...The stress of not conforming can kill you, this is why many gays commit suicide, society doesn't accept them. Society is sort of "force" to accept them because we have made attacking or discrimiating against gays a civil rights issue and hate crime.

I don't care. Rather not see two men kissing, that makes me uncomfortable. Two women kissing makes me uncomfortable.

Nothing is wrong with intolerance for the RIGHT REASONS. Based on Race, Gender, Sexual Orientation or Religion = NO

See Governments rather distract you with largely unimportant shit like this, while they strip you of your civil liberties. How do I know? I have not seen any post about NDAA...

But Gender Issues, Gay Issues? Yep I can do a simple search and people are all up in arms. So looking at a woman on TV and not being totally sure she was born a man bothers you, but the Militarization of our Police Dept doesn't bother you? FYI: White Men are getting the shit beat out of them too by the cops its not just minorities, Google Kelly Thomas.

That was strictly lack of leadership and typical Empire crumbling. You also forget Mount Vesuvius took out a bunch of people as well. When the Roman Empire crumbled it was largely do to what was happening among the leadership in heterosexual terms and not the rest of the society.

The Soviet Union used to do this in the Olympics. They had all sorts of mannish women athletes because they pumped them full of steroids. I am not religious mind. I have a high respect for religion mind, but as far as believing there was some physical God who handed down rules and regulations for morality, I do not believe that and you can not discredit my beliefs on those grounds.
