I am sorry if I start a rant, but I am angry. Here is what I am fed up with:
-I am fed up with ignorance in my country
-I am fed up with people saying Ron Paul is a kook, when he predicted a housing bubble, among other things.
-I am fed up with self entitled b*tches.
-I am fed up that no one will stand up for our country in time of need (in terms of fighting for freedom, not military service)
-I am tired that when people offer solutions to the crisis, people just go on to other things, drink, party, sleep, work, and do it again.
I am tired of the money, money money attitude of people. It seems when there was actual value to the dollar, people were more focused on doing good in their craft. Now it's all about the money.
-I am tired of the lack of freedom in this country.
-I am tired of what would be considered 10 years ago "outside the mainstream", becoming mainstream.
-I am tired of having to have a permit for everything.
-Heck, you don't have the freedom to do with yourself what you want. And if you feel like giving up, that's illegal too. (Killing yourself)

And I am fed up with other things. But those are they main thing. Sorry if I sound like the forum's angry old white male, but I am just tired of it all. Any thoughts.

Nice rant.

Why don't you go live somewhere else? I'm in the process of doing this, and when I've done it I'll drag Winston's ass off that island republic!

Last week I met a Western guy who's been living in the Philippines for ages. He's never had a conventional job, he's just learned to hustle and do his own thing (a bit like Winston?).

I am working on that, I am just not to the point of being able to leave yet. I am just frustrated in the mean time. But at least I am using that frustration to be motivated. What brought this us is that day in class, my professor brought up a point Ron Paul made about the FED, and how he thought on one had that Ron's views on the conspiracy at the fed where overblown (NWO stuff), but on the other hand, how he was right in that the central banks did not solve the problems of the boom and bust cycles. People chuckled at the first point, which made me kind of pissed off, because I believed they did that on account of something I said about the FED before in class (against it). And another time someone made a comment about how everyone in the class was happy I did not get into it with my instructor. Looking back, it makes me kind of mad, and just saying FU to this ignorance. You may not agree with me, but at least give me a bit of respect. (Note: I never insulted anyone about their views, I just was asking the teacher something in class)
