Crazy white chicks in Asia

Hey guys, haven't posted in months but here is a story that made me think of this forum.

Been in Seoul for well over a year, there are few white people here and even fewer white women. And as I'm not attracted to white women in general I never notice nor talk to them in my daily life. Had a freak run-in with one last week.

After work I stop by a Western pub. Some California blonde parks her butt next to me at the bar with the standard "hey how's it going" (hair flip). She's a 4 by Asian standards, maybe a 7 by American, but SHE thinks she's a 9! While I immediately know I don't have any personal interest in her, I'm a laid back guy and always open to talking to new interesting people.

It's just absolutely mind blowing to see how these people behave. She starts by ordering a drink, bartender says pay first (because in foreigner district you need to pay first as there are flakes), she says "my card is over there in my jacket", he says "okay go get it". She refuses, it becomes uncomfortable between them, he pushes harder for her to pay up, she will not, he eventually gets clearly pissed off and gives up on her. First, this is not the way things are done in KR, it's a respectful culture, this ugly American has been here for years and hasn't learned a bit of the Korean way. Second Koreans wear a mask of no emotion, for this guy to become visibly angry required some real BITCH behavior. And for no reason. The rest of the city is having fun, but this little ball of blonde anger has something up her butt.

Now she says to me "did you see that". "Uhh yes, I did see that" I say, in a tone not too impressed, but she doesn't notice nor care. "Cause I"m A WOMAN" she exclaims, "I get what I want!". I'm still cracking up about this a week later. Told all my Korean friends; they do not know what this phrase means? What does this mean "because I'm a woman" (followed by smug look)?? She continues to say this a number of times during the conversation as if it has some meaning. She's a 4, in the middle of KR, a man dominated society, acting like she has some sort of control over her environment because she has a female reproductive organ???

"So" I ask sincerely, "you have been here awhile, how do you like KR"? Immediately I hit the American wall, this invisible barrier that does not allow them to answer a question sincerely or have any real conversation with another human being (had forgotten all about this). She just says "oh it is what it is". Ha what does that mean? Since I do not know her I do not know how she interprets "what it is", hence the question, it is a thing called conversation. She continues with this fake conversation style, never actually saying anything real, just sort of cliches and hollow words before starting to brush up against my leg and do this rehearsed flirtatious act. Oh brother [facepalm]. She says "stick around" (wink) and goes to talk to her friends. I remember I'm late for something and leave for a bar with hot Asian chicks.

Anyhow, I'm just so not calibrated for this anymore. The cold plastic conversation, the angry American woman face, the crude mannerless behavior. It's so weird even in the US, but especially out of place way over here. It may have been "buy me a drink" strategy, but such a thought never crossed my mind.

Chick needs a reality check.

Why would someone like that even go to Korea?

Cool story bro.

I've seen a few Western women in Asia (China/Japan). I don't know what they're doing there. My ex told me they worked in the fashion industry, I think they were hookers.

American women in Asia? A burger, and a day-old one at that, cannot compete in a steakhouse....

Sounds like you missed a golden opportunity to put her in her place... lol.

"Dear, this isn't America. The fact that you're a woman, especially an American one, is worth precisely DICK."

yeah...alot of you guys on here are not verbose enough when these women are out-of-line. I would have rick roled her like the joe pesci of anti-feminism or some sh-it.
This thread needs to be archived. Sushimans story is already a classic of ww/aw behaviour even outside of the anglosphere. Newfags oops i mean noobs that come here need to treat this as an excert from the book of bonecrkr.

Could she have possibly been an English Teacher ... :?:

Yes she said she was an English teacher, but living in a dull city South of Seoul. Her and her friends had come up to get away from that hick town and party in the big city. She said she was from California, ha I got the feeling she was from Idaho or some such place.

But still I always wonder, WHY do these women come here!? They don't exactly fit in. The white dudes in Seoul, after getting a taste of an Asian girl, aren't much interested anymore. White chicks are outgunned in the looks department in a big way, and then again in the personality department and again in the values department. Triple insult to their out-of-touch ego. ;)

Anyhow not having talked to an AW in over 1yr (not that I talked, she blabbed the entire time), I saw it like an alien would see things, these chicks are so messed up!! What can't be translated is the vibe coming off her; just so uncomfortable, unfeminine, always trying to prove herself, always out to "be shrewd" and rip off the bartender if possible. Geez lady why not just relax and be happy! Asian women are everywhere around you doing it, it's great!

It never occurred to me to be a dick to her, just don't care enough to bother. Although I guess walking out on her flirtation efforts to find a bar with Asian girls was injury enough to her little ego.

Yes! These are the types of things I felt like saying while in the USA. Just don't care anymore.

Besides I think she gets put in her place every day by waking up in KR. But she can't learn from her mistakes and become a better person. The society brainwashing of "I'm a woman, everyone wants me, and I get what I want" is stuck too deep in her programing to adapt now. And so she just keeps doing this out of place behavior.

She would be a lot happier if she had a better attitude. Ther was no reason for her to treat the barman poorly. It's good you didn't give her the satisfaction of a stand off.

On the contrary, a standoff is exactly what these types of chicks need. Nothing will ever change until men put them in their place on a regular basis. Anything else only exacerbates the problem.

When they bring their American "sass" abroad they should be set straight immediately.

hhhm maybe.
she seems like she was looking for a fight though or looking for someone to provoke, or attention even if it was bad attention.

Who knows what goes on in crazy people's minds. ;)

Probably she was trying to assert some sort of power over her environment, cause she has none. Even though she knows it will result in negative attention. Agree a positive attitude would fix a lot of her issues and make her stay in Asia more pleasant.
