This occurred to me a long time ago but I never gave it too much thought, and then it occurred to me again this morning.
A lot of women can't handle sexual tension. So, when they get it, they rationalize their inability to handle it by labelling the guy who is looking at / talking to them as a creep.
But let's face it, it really does take a lot to be a creep. You almost have to go out of your way to act creepy. Watch this :
The one with long hair, Richie (Rik Mayall), for whatever reason, he's really good at playing a very creepy role. It's something about his face.
But I don't think most guys are anything like that. If I personally have ever done or said anything that could genuinely be called creepy, it has been out of sheer desperation / frustration. I can't think of any examples but I'm sure I've done it. But it's not the norm, and it's not what I aim for.
So when a woman talks about some men being creepy, I don't think they're creepy at all. Looking at a woman or talking to a woman in a way that shows desire is just normal. So with some women you have to walk a tightrope between confidence and creepiness. However, if the woman already is attracted for whatever reason, there's very little you can do to come off as creepy. The very same things that would get you labelled creepy become endearing, etc. It's ridiculous.
So next time you feel like interacting with a female, go ahead and look, and show her that you like her. And when you talk to her, likewise. If she can't handle sexual tension that's her problem. If she can't handle it then she's not really a woman. An example : Howard from the Big Bang Theory is seen as a creep by Penny, yet Bernadette thinks he's cute. Who's more of a woman? Yes Howard can be a bit full on, and sometimes he crosses over into slightly creepy but he's funny with it, and if he existed in real life you'd only have to spend a short time around with him to see that he's not that creepy (although the show needs humour so they do make him a bit over the top for effect).
Don't let her project her insecurities onto you, and don't accept her frame and her rationalization that you're a creep. Go ahead and stare. That's what your eyes are for.
Yes exactly, if she finds the guy unattractive in any way, she labels him as a 'creep.' Women in anglo-countries only want the top 20% of men approaching them.
If your not in the top 20% and you approach them, you are then labeled as a "creep."
"When I think about the idea of getting involved with an American woman, I don't know if I should laugh .............. or vomit!"
"Trying to meet women in America is like trying to decipher Egyptian hieroglyphics."
In America there is a very fine line between flirting and sexual harassment (in the eyes of women). So the message that AW send to me is very confusing. On one hand they want almost a sterile sexless environment in which they can pick and choose when the sexuality should escalate and advance to the next level. But this is a sign that women have been given too much control and power. Johnny I completely agree. Go about your business. If you so desire look them up and down and flirt at will. We as men can't let the AW sweep sexuality under the carpet. Never forget that god put men on this planet to be the chasers and hunters so puff out your chest and cross the line of being creepy (within reason) if need be.
Isn't it funny that they clearly set this double standard but complain that the modern American man is whimpy and lacks confidence to approach a woman?

+1 and what's worse, if a non-alpha guy looks at her tits through her slutty top that she wears on purpose so men will look, then they are creeps, but if an alpha guy does the same thing, he's "confident" and "sexy."
+2 Totally f*cking true.
