I was never into Roosh and PUA, in fact i hate when PUA say you need to 'learn the game, as if men need phd to learn to be sociable,

I live near London, England and the days of seeing hoards of American tourists are long gone. You've been replaced by Japanese and more recently Chinese.

it´s probably a mix of different things>: the unfamiliar face, the isolatedness of the region, communism, northern climate, high worth ethic and discipline.

I guess this is talking about Asians living in America? I would see people explode into red faced shouting matches on regular basis in both China AND Korea. Also when drinking and partying they would be falling out of their chairs laughing, and to this one I'd add Japan too.

my view is probably biassed. anyway this reminds me of a german girl who came from fsu. i did try to tell her why for example turks and germans are so differnt. take for example the word "esprit". turks use it like mofo. it is very important for them to try to make people laugh. though german culture deals a lot with romanic culture they don´t value "esprit".

thats worse than americans, in comparison americans are friendly, at least thell get drunk and loosen up
EXACTLY! That's what I've been saying for ages. East Asians in some ways are more cliquish than Americans even. They do everything in groups, including THINK in groups! Total hive mind. No individuality. See, I told you so. They also make friends in groups too. So if you're not part of their group, then you don't exist to them. This also means that East Asian girls, such as in Taiwan, don't like to meet guys outside of their group either. This is one reason why I have nearly a zero response rate from Taiwanese girls on dating sites. They don't take dating sites seriously. They just see it as a game and don't intend on meeting anyone from it. One of them even told me that.

This is so obvious. So I don't understand why people like Rock have a need to be so politically correct about it. I get the sense that even if ONE MILLION people told him that "Winston is right about East Asians and Taiwanese" he still would not admit that I'm right. What's odd is that Rock is politically incorrect about other subjects, but when it comes to NE Asians, all of a sudden he is so politically correct all the time, and unable to admit that I'm right about anything.

For once, I agree with Billy about East Asians. They do seem like hollow empty shells with no soul or emotions. Very weird. I've never understood them. They do turn a little more friendly and open once they live in the US though. Imagine that. Taiwanese are friendlier to me in the US than in Taiwan, and are more willing to start a conversation. But I always avoided them in the US though. I was ashamed of being Asian so I avoided other Asians and walked around them on the street.

On the other hand, I've seen plenty of solo Japanese and South Korean backpackers in China and Latin America, but wherever I go, I am always, always the only Chinese-speaking guy traveling solo. Japan is actually a hotbed for creativity, non-conformism, and even sexual openness nowadays too. For many Chinese-speaking peoples, talking about about sex is still quite taboo.

The Taiwanese educational system has long clung to stifling Confucian ideals, but this had been gradually changing ever since the end of martial rule in 1987.

Score!

Odbo dishes out the truth to Banano and Banano blames Ginger for his acting like a scumbag, what a joke man! I used to like you but gotta agree with Odbo you are a scumbag on this one.

Btw, I've been living in the Philippines for a while now and me thinks Ginger represents the average/normal women of the Philippines. Quit saying she is a feminist just because she does not fit your pinay stereotype which is mostly based on communing with the p4p crowd and what is known as brown trash (pinoy equivalent of white trash). Are you saying normal pinays are feminized? Have you ever encountered a real pinay who is not p4p or are you making things up based on the internet myths?

Bro Banano, you turned into a PUA scumbag before Ginger girl was brought by Rock to HA. Be honest with yourself man.

i mean even in movies i can not find the guys cool who are asians. maybe it´s just social programming. anyway it´s little bit weird. i try sometimes to like some figures but it does not work in the end. many movies from the east make it actually worse. asia is rich why don´t (can´t)they produce some charming interesting charakters?

1. East Asians are "High Context Cultures" versus the English-speaking cultures are generally considered "Low Context Cultures". I do not have time to explain this so you can do your own reading on wiki and other sources: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_context_culture

2. The Ancient Egyptians thought that the human heart was the source of human intelligence, wisdom, emotions, memory, personality, etc. The ancient Chinese might have thought a person's smarts is stored in his stomach. When describing someone who is knowledgeable, one might say "his stomach is full of knowledge". This cultural expression was spread to other parts of East Asia. In Japan the skill of reading what's in someone's stomach (as in, what the guy is thinking) is called Haragei "stomach art": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haragei

3. Sometimes Asians will communicate non-verbally ("silent communication") through unspoken mutual understanding "Ishin-Denshin": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ishin-denshin

4. Both Haragei and Ishin-Denshin are products of High Context Cultures where in-group members are expected to have "mutual understanding". Someone from a Low-Context Culture might observe the exchange as "dancing around the subject". To a Korean, such person may be considered socially inept: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nunchi

5. If you're currently in the US and want to train in "stomach arts", one possible method (?) that I can think of is to join your local Quaker (Religious Society of Friends) business meetings and observe the process of coming to unity & finding the way forward.
