He's white. In fact i've only heard white and black guys say that Germany is better. I've read some accounts of asian guys having a great time in culturally similar Austria but I don't know if that was a unique experience or what.

On the other hand for a country like France i've heard mostly positive coming from Asian guys who have lived and traveled there. Whereas for white American guys it was either mixed or neutral.
