10 countries that love and hate America.

Post by Repatriate »

I got this from yahoo so don't blame me if it's bullshit. It seems accurate though. By love and hate I assume it's mostly about foreign policy perceptions. I'm not sure why Greece is so anti-american though. All the others I can totally understand. I'm not surprised at all that Israel and the Philippines love the U.S. a lot. Without the U.S. Israel wouldn't have survived past the 80's.

Love the U.S.
---------------
1. Philippines (percentage with a favorable view of the United States: 85%)
2. Israel (83%)
3. Ghana (83%)
4. Senegal (81%)
5. Kenya (81%)
6. El Salvador (79%)
7. South Korea (78%)
8. Italy (76%)
9. Uganda (73%)
10. Brazil (73%)

Hate the U.S.
----------------
1. Pakistan (percentage with a favorable view of the United States: 11%)
2. Jordan (14%)
3. Palestinian territories (16%)
4. Egypt (16%)
5. Turkey (21%)
6. Greece (39%)
7. China (40%)
8. Argentina (41%)
9. Tunisia (42%)
10. Lebanon (47%)

We backed the coup in Greece that's why - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1967_Greek ... '%C3%A9tat

I would say the Philippines has a positive view because of the main relatives that are in the US and mixed marriages between Flips and Americans.

The African countries because again, families and people sending their children here for education.

Why they hate us? China because they see us as hypocrites, Egypt because we have supported their Autocratic leaders. Turkey for not agreeing with the genocide, Tunisia see Egypt, Lebanon see Israel and Argentina because we backed a Military Coup which the current Pope was involved in...
