I'd chose 1950s Europe. Interesting times, lots of changing opportunities to take advantage of. Life didnt suck too bad....All the elites were destroyed

any place with Hunter gatherers in a tropical environment and No civilization.thus south america,pacific islands,or southeast asia all before European or Islamic expansion.

Honestely Id want to be a Taino native in puerto rico,Cuba,or Venezuela before european discovery,.

You have a nice hut by the pristine water,you have family that loves you,you have tons of wives,you don't need a job because your food comes from the fish in the sea and the plants growing out of the hill.all year round nice weather,you have a life of no worries.humans were hunter gatherers for most of their existence.Civilization is a recent concept wich only benefits a few people.it wasn't until after ww2 that people even remotely benefited from civilization.
