Distractions, Name Calling and Other Stupid Sh*t
On FB, somebody posted a quote from Obama about Beyonce and then posted a picture of Beyonce in various outfits that she performs in. I said she's a performer/entertainer and dresses that way for a reason. Then I asked, would you rather her dress like Diana Ross? Who throughout her career and at the height of her solo career has mostly worn evening gowns. But nobody saw that (of course), what they saw is me defending Beyonce' choice of attire when she performers on stage, in turn was called a "Mangina".
It's these sort of interactions with various men that get on my nerves. Not one of you has any proof that shaming women, returning the favor Western women are often guilty of is working or going to work. They tune out men by shaming them for their lack of accomplishments. Men then retort that the game is rigged and that they are honorable.
That sh*t isn't going to work!
What I am not seeing on this board and frankly anyplace else is any working towards collaboration with others. What actually is happening is a war of ideologies.
On one side you have religious/conservative types on the other you have more progressive/liberal/logical types.
Any battle of ideologies results in thousands of page hits and hundreds of comments.
While post about collaboration are pushed down into oblivion.
Save for mguy and Ez, I get combative at times PM's I have to deal with. Now I could just delete them, but I find them interest how some people think the way they do.
Men are logical, we need to stop the emotional nonsense.
Of course that's not going to happen, so I ask that those of you interested in collaboration please PM me or let's at least expand the discussion about collaboration.

Collaboration is hopeless and won't do a damn thing for United States and several other countries...The best thing the do is find a country that is not as messed-up as the country you're unhappy-in, and find happiness abroad. That is the whole point of this website. It's a big world out there...
There's no way to fix a broken system or stop a leaking ship from sinking to the bottom of the ocean...It's a hopeless cause...
That's why I no longer frequent the MGTOW and PUAHate forums anymore, because their only solution is to sulk and complain...

I am all in favor of collaborating, but what is the end goal we are trying to achieve?
As zboy1 has said, collaborating in order to change the US (or the West in general) is a hopeless
endeavor.
It's much better if we collaborate with each other in order to improve each other's lives
at all levels.
It would be great if we could help each other to improve our physical appearance, our dealings
with women and the world, our financial lives in these tough economic times, how to become
more masculine, etc.
I tried to do this by starting a thread on buying farmland, so we could bounce ideas on how
to become more independent from the system.
If we cannot change the society around us, the least we can do is to improve ourselves.

I am 100% with you on this. I'm getting tired of this self-defeating and shaming other men talk. Too many guys are acting like the pussies they hate so much. Like OOTB used to say alot, guys here are acting like females and using the same feminist techniques to attack other MEN! It's beyond absurd! You could not make this shit up, and it bothers me that so many men are unable to notice what they are doing. I feel like some of us are throwing pearls to swine too much.djfourmoney wrote:On FB, somebody posted a quote from Obama about Beyonce and then posted a picture of Beyonce in various outfits that she performs in. I think you misunderstood him. I think he is wanting to see more collaboration with not just non-aware men, but also guys on HA too.... If you think that collaboration in HA is hopeless too, please explain to us all why? The sulking and complaining you are describing is what he is sick of seeing on HA too.zboy1 wrote:Collaboration is hopeless and won't do a damn thing for United States and several other countries...The best thing the do is find a country that is not as messed-up as the country you're unhappy-in, and find happiness abroad. I have been thinking about writing more guides on subjects not related to actual travel but things that improve the quality of life, or teaches young men (older too I suppose), how to do certain things in order to avoid consistent failure. Topics that would be good to write on would be (How to be Romantic, How to talk to women, Sex and techniques (like foreplay, intercourse, stamina, strategies on stroke angles, sexual hygiene, etc.), how to dress well for all occasions and for travel or just basic fashion principles with advice for individual countries even, just to name a few things....).ContraMundumRants wrote:I am all in favor of collaborating, but what is the end goal we are trying to achieve?

I am hesitant to write these because it feels a little bit like I am being too arrogant like a know-it-all and to some extent I feel as if I will be ridiculed by too many guys here, and seen as trying to hold the dick of others here as if I am teaching them how to pee.... Not only that I would not like to write the whole thing from my perspective because I know a few others here have some great advice to give on it too, but I would need to see who I can collaborate with to write up some of this stuff. What I do not want is yet another useless thread to be later lost, but a useful sticky that will help anyone needing advice in those areas.
I would love to know what you guys think about some of this. What about you DJ?

The first thing would be gather some people on Google + and come up with some goals.
Common goals should be discussed
America has become a individualistic nightmare. Its your fault your poor, its your fault you don't have a nice GF, its your fault you lack social skills, its your fault, etc, etc, etc, etc.
zboy I agree with that, but no reason for you to go with the flow, there are plenty of like minded people here. We might not all like the same countries, the same types of women or even have the same goals of becoming an expat. But we can all agree on the basics, that you need to get a passport and get on a plane. Beyond that, you need to stay in a country for a set amount of time to find a woman, you can't be on whatever limited time frame your current jobs allows you.
The truth is, you can find a job overseas and it doesn't have to be teaching English. If you have a high skill, its likely your in-demand in a developing economy.
Let's start with these two issues.
How do I get there and what do I do once I get there?
Common goals should be discussed
- What skill sets do you possess
What assets do you possess
What are you willing to offer for free or at low cost

Giving tools to people that will use them to empower themselves is optimal. I too wonder how many will act on it. It will seemingly always be in the single digit range until some calamity happens, but even then, people won't go anywhere unless they are physically forced too. This is all voluntary as the current reality doesn't really seem that bad, if I just make a few more dollars.kai1275 wrote:I have been thinking about writing more guides on subjects not related to actual travel but things that improve the quality of life, or teaches young men (older too I suppose), how to do certain things in order to avoid consistent failure. I will reach out with my blog and my upcoming collaboration with Mguy on his blog(s). But I want to see how many in HA user base want to actually work together.
I see motivation (lack of it) and finance as the biggest issues.
These can be sorted out with ease actually, we have to work together and have trust in each other.

Ok so maybe I can help out on some of the skills stuff. In fact there are too many IT guys in HA that can help on this period. So even if they wont participate with you directly, I always know who to send a PM to that knows certain technology stuff and get the information needed. In fact Irrizarry has helped me with that in the past on behalf of a friend of mine, so I think it is okay to kinda drag him into some of this without asking.djfourmoney wrote:The first thing would be gather some people on Google + and come up with some goals.

I totally agree on the individualistic nightmare stuff. We can perhaps change this somewhat.
djfourmoney,
Definitely a good and positive Thread. I was thinking the samething today about how to finally not keeping myself locked in my own thoughts about staying in the US. Currently, I am thinking if possible find a decent costs for flights. Unfortunately, since I am in kind of relationship right now, the problem is flying to see her which unfortunately is during the holidays. I am thinking if I should push it back since, flying during high season (Nov-Jan) is expensive even in South America. I was thinking though in general, we should talk about objectives and try to work out some ideas to help people on this forum to hopefully embark on their goals.
I think that for also for specific career paths are good. I think for me the problem is if I can still do a highly technicial job outside the US or should I pursue another career as long as I have a first world-like living.

What kind of technical work do you do for a living?aozora13 wrote:djfourmoney,

Ez has helped me with certifications as well.
Possibilities with an IT background -
Setting up a data center, being a broadband provider to a underserved area, IT construction specialist
I'm sure there others but building clusters and keeping databases it not that hard and Latin America is just getting started with their own internet boom.
The homes with desktops in Brazil has increased to 45%.
There will be a bunch of opportunities for investment/business creation and you already have advanced IT experience, well above that of the general population AND YOU SPEAK ENGLISH, the language of the internet/business.
I am just scratching the surface here.

Don't you have a credit card that gives you frequent flier miles? Do you qualify for one? If you watch Josh's video, he explains how he does it. Basically a few friends decide to pass around $1,000. By basically paying each others credit card bills, they increase the mileage bonus they get.aozora13 wrote:djfourmoney,

But I thought of a fund because I know the reality that most people of color have credit problems and it will not be possible to get these mileage credit cards. So you'll need a fund that will give you cash based on a few different banking systems I have seen. It would basically be a loan you pay back with zero interest, like JAK Bank.
As far as jobs, I would and I know its hard, but to stop thinking in terms if I can work for somebody, but empowering yourself to own a business instead.
You can do it, you may not want to do it for strange reasons, usually fear of failure. Failure only happens when you are not funded correctly or your business model is flawed. Many people will offer you help many times at no charge to make sure you succeed. All you have to do is ask. In a society that has constantly told you, individual success is done without the help of others (even Government), I know its hard to get your head around it, but it must be done.
IT work in Germany for example is not in high demand, sure there are some jobs, but for the most part you need to be a German resident because they will not pay for you to relocate to Europe, or subsidized your housing.
I look at it like this.
I want a relationship more than I want a job. The jobs will come much easier than finding a decent, attractive woman. Focus on the most difficult thing FIRST.
