Will Ukraine Split?

Based on my limited understanding, East and West seem split, and wouldn't surprise me if they split over this.

Good question. Probably the Russian side, since it is more traditional.

Nope...not going to happen...those who are supporting EU integration are basically being funded and supported by.....surprise, surprise, EU governments.

It's the Russian-speaking side, not Russian side. Just like Ireland has an English- speaking side ( they are not English because of that, are they?) and a Gaelic-speaking one ( the far West.) There is a difference between Russian-speaking and Russian. Just like there is a difference between being French-speaking ( as in Haiti and Martinique) and being French.

The best girls are in the Russian-speaking side, for sure. The had more Greek, Turkish, Swedish, Russian and other admixtures over centuries so you have more types to chose from - from the native Iranian- these are the first people there, to blond Scandinavians. During the failed war for independence some centuries back, a whole Swedish army was stuck near Poltava -- and they stayed there, so if you want a blond Scandinavian you head there.

The Ukrainian-speaking side rarely has girls advertise on foreign sites- do note that. Women there, in my opinion look more Germanic and are just as cold. Narrow faces, sharp noses, lanky. And the guys there look p---y whipped. Does it sound familiar?

Plus, they don't like outsiders that much. Especally Eastern Ukranians. Some reported being spat upon and cussed at.

This is a more violent version of what is going on there. It is not shown on mainstream TV.

Note that the cops have no guns. And look at the nerve of the protesters- they spray pepper spray , throw fire bombs at the cops, beat them with wooden boards and chains and throw huge rocks at them.

They go at them with flares, ram police lines with a log and even bring in a bulldozer. Poor cops! Hundreds have been injured.

Try this in the US. You will be shot on the spot in this land of the free. Same in Russia- that will not be tolerated. But Ukranians, being of Cossack stock, never had much respect for law and/or order unless it's by directly elected Cossack leaders. This is why I think even an EU style gov't may not fly there.

Generally, people there are passive, private and non-violent. This is why cops don't carry guns there. But this is a special case now. Still, no guns.

Last morning, the cops came again, found resistance even higher, packed up and left.

I mean Russian influenced side. I know it is not "Russian " per se, but it's culture has more clout.
