'The social media is abuzz with this theory as not even the super efficient Satellites were able to detect any trace of the missing plane.

The alien abduction theory now holds more weight as the Chinese media claimed that some passengers' mobile phones were ringing when their relatives called while the American spy satellite too showed no sign of a mid-air explosion in its image.'

It's quite the mystery ain't it? Reminds me of the TWA Flight 800 plane that many people consider to be a 'conspiracy,' because large numbers of Long Islanders claimed to have seen a missile hit the plane, before it went down in the ocean.

Bottom line: never trust governments to tell you the truth about anything, especially in regards to conspiracies like this incident...

So they can geo locate & activate any cell phone and they can photograph objects as small as a car from space (look at a satellite map of your neighborhood -- now imagine what the gov has) but they can't find an object the size of a plane or its location -- a plane that would have been carrying hundreds of those trackable cell phones that can be remotely activated and report their coordinates?

are you saying that our smartphones can be activated and located from anywhere in the world? How come when you lose your phone telcos never try to locate them, wouldn't it make sense to do it to stop people from stealing?
I am aware of blacklisting IMEI but not tracking/locating phone that has been turned off

On telco tracking of cell phones, my guess would be they don't want to be bombarded with every idiot that temporarily misplaces her phone in another room.

Wrt tracking the phone, that is a side effect of activating it. When the phone is turned on, it periodically sends out a signal to locate the nearest towers. That's how they know whether to charge you for roaming or not. Last I heard, this (civilian version) was accurate to within 50 ft. That was some years ago and close enough to find a jetliner or pieces of one.

(These are just the capabilities they ADMIT to)

Wrt to this missing jet, if they find it "too soon", then people might start asking how they found it.

Banano,
very old news....the sim card in a phone can be tracked to within about 20 or 30 meters whether the phone is on or off. The guvmint can turn the sim card on remotely. Where there are fewer towers it is a bit less accurate of course....but yes...they gave us cell phones for a reason. It is a very short trip for a chip to go from the cell phone to under our skin for our "benefit" so we "won't lose the chip".

They are preparing us for combining our cell phones, keys, credit cards etc all in to one chip that is put under our skin so we can be 100% sure we never lose our phone, keys, cards etc. And oh, they will also put "medical history" and biometrics on the chip....all for our benefit of course.

Never again will we not be able to find out car keys. We will never lose the keys to our house. Never lose our credit cards. Never lose our phones.....but we will be totally dependent on the chip....and many will take it willingly.

Don't do it, PAN. They will slip some ninja poison into yours because the elite are trying to kill all of the dangerous super geniuses.

From what I was reading, the area that they're searching is a vast area so it's not so easy to find this plane. For compassion, they said it's like trying to find one car in a area the size of the United States.

I was too young to remember that, but I have done lots of research on TWA Flight 800. I do believe that plane was hit by a missile myself.

The cell phone thing assumes they can get a signal. The phone has to be in range of a tower period, govt tracking or not. Towers also have directional antenna's and are aimed down toward the ground slightly, a phone above about 3000 feet AGL (and towers) will typically not work very well if at all and gets worse with altitude.

Satellite phones are a different story however.... but how many carry these regularly that aren't out hiking the Australian outback?

I'm captivated by this story, not least because my 2013 Happier Abroad year saw me take flights from both Kuala Lumpur and Beijing airports. Spooky.

I had a look through the photos I took while plane spotting at KLIA, but I didn't photograph the plane in question.

My feeling is the flight went towards India for some reason, or towards Japan. I'm pretty sure it couldn't go anywhere else, as surely it would have been spotted by military radars.

I think it's more likely that the crew had an involvement in it - I can't see hijackers being the cause.

I think the Pentagon has a vague idea of what happened, but they're not letting on.

I was looking into buying a satellite phone but the rates were too much for day to day use. I fell in love with the Motorola phone that was featured in Miami Vice.

I looked into them briefly also. Too pricey for me, I'm not in no-man's land enough to justify the cost of the service. If I was Indiana Jones however... :)
