However I didn't see her again until she turned 16 and by then things had changed as her social life picked up, IE guys aren't scared of girls anymore.

Another in a seemingly long line of missed opportunities to get the exact kind of woman I wanted. In her case 5'7, strawberry blond, green eyes....

If I had not only maintained contact over the phone but met her at school; I was just concerned somebody would see us and it would get relayed back to her parents. "I saw XXX with some Black guy...." LOL. I mean my intentions were pure, I think we could have had something long term.

Even today she would be about 33-34 and I'm 43. What would have seemed sort of strange 20 years ago would be normal now, unless we discussed how we met.

Then again, telling people you met over the internet would have seen strange just a few years ago.

Amazing how things become normalized after awhile...

This is the point.

Girls mature faster. They proceed to put themselves out there, with no takers. I've seen it. You've seen it. Whether you or I should be chasing young skirt is a fair question. But these young, young guys stressing about a 5 or 10 year age gap is plain silly.

Go for it! Bust a move!

I actually had chances with cute 14-16 year olds when I was 16-18. One of them was a legit 7. Of course now that she's in her early 20's, she's dating some pug-faced male 9 (seriously, the dude looks like a darker young Dicaprio).

Once I got to college, where the competition becomes insane, I couldn't even get fat chicks,

If you know anything about the motorcycle industry and the rah, rah "America" of the early 70's; remember the Bicentennial was 1976, lots of patriotism, I was there I was 6.

He would not get on a Japanese bike for any reason. Even in those days when Japanese bikes started beating British and Italian bikes in MotoGP, most people scoffed.

They also didn't believe American riders were any good until Freddie Spencer, Eddie Lawson, King Kenny Roberts and Kevin Schwantz.

So context is important....

One of many chances to be happy but instead... Let me explain.

After writing that, I got a call from my boy Sam and I told him that story. At the end of it I explained why I didn't pursue her vigorously when I could have.

1) She was a highly attractive White woman (I am not just saying that) with dark blond hair. If you wanna really piss off racist White men, date an attractive White woman as a Black man, it just burns them up.

She could enter a room and easily be one of the best looking women in there, no joke none of this 5-6-7 stuff, more like 8-9.

2) I am either underestimating the danger or overestimating it. Nevermind the reaction from her father, not only was I older but Black.

Having said that, she didn't seem to be bothered I was Black and the subject never came up. I guess her parents couldn't be hypocritical if they raised her to be accepting of others.

In any case its a missed, golden opportunity, something I regret and I don't like to talk about much because its depressing. When I had a hot girl I didn't take her, now all I get is fat chicks, ugly chicks and ugly Black women. One sent me a message on Okcupid, I was like UNBELIEVABLE, she thinks I am cute, not shocking but she is NOT ATTRACTIVE and a BBW.

Much like starting to save for your retirement when your in your 40's, the stakes are much higher and more expensive when you're older.

So I have to go overseas, I have no choice and I don't understand how most men don't see the entire picture for what it is.
