I found my family in music videos

I'd completely forgotten about Twisted Sister from the 80s. The father in the video is almost a facsimile of my own dad but he's a little less whacked than the old man, as the man in the video is simply setting the rules in his household. The mother looks as hapless as my own but as a blonde than a brunette.

I always wore headphones so I never invited confrontations for listening to subversive music, instead of Patriots like Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison. BTW, I also like Buddy Holly so I do have one thing in common with my dad.




The following is a less lazy version of my sister as Meredith Brooks can sing and play an instrument. Also, it looks like Meredith exercises a bit.



So if you take the content of the video, add alcohol, a bloated body from the whiskey & the junk food, and add in even more neurosis, you get my sister.
