Escaping the attention of even highly educated Americans. The introduction of cable television(soap operas) is associated with significant decreases in fertility worldwide. The countries that are marked on the map yellow to purple are the ones where women are still interested in men.

Countries that have soap operas on TV also have high divorce rates and generally shitty women.

Simply put, kids are expensive as hell and a pain in the ass. Oh, and to be fair, the world is overpopulated.

female education + western pop culture + TV soap operas = crashing birthrate

This may not seem like a serious problem at first. However, it does explain why millions of western men have to travel to other countries to meet "normal" women that have not been influenced by their "programming". Any woman that doesn't want to have kids won't have much use for a boyfriend or husband which is another reason dating in western countries is hell.

Men and women in western society are waiting longer to get married and many are choosing not to get married or have children.

Social engineering is the psychological manipulation of peoples opinions and behaviors by the mass media. People may believe they are consciously making their own decision to postpone marriage and having children when in fact this idea has been implanted in to their minds by an external stimulus (education, movies, TV, birth control etc...).
