Lucky Bastard lol. Were you from the snowbelt? ( TC , Gaylord, Alpena). I was joking with a coworker at work about the rain, saying that I would love to be in Rio with this type of rain, except warmer lol. Can't wait to get all my assets and my ass in a row lol.

As for gifts, an Amazon gift card will do. I tend to read a lot, so that makes sense. Also Tazo tea is good. As I have gotten older, I have realized with the exception of sociocultural and socioeconomic factors, life has gotten pretty good for me. That meaning that I can live on less, and as long as I create a small empire to live on and pass on to future generations, as well as fulfill personal goals of mine, I for one will be personally happy. Still debating her to take the political route further ( as a Republican most likely, although very libertarian), although in a different district and perhaps state, or whether to say screw it and go full PT instead of just part time. Time will tell.

I am now in Thailand in Pattaya for a while, during my winter vacation. Back to Japan around 10th of January next year.

A little bit cool for the season, water is too cold to use our large swimmingpool in the condominium complex, but otherwise all is OK.

No political problems in my place, easy and quick immigration, also found our rooms in good condition.

The high exchange rate seems to keep away a lot of visitors, this high season of 2014/2015 will not work out well for business owners in Pattaya. Be aware, Thailand is not such a cheap place anymore.

Is this true? Mr S told me:

"You're not allowed to say "merry Christmas" anymore, it's "happy holidays." Didn't you get that memo from the Obama administration? You might offend Muslims, atheists and any other easily offended group or person."

Here's a great Christmas classic movie for you to check out. I just saw it. It's a timeless classic about an angel who helps a suicidal family and business man by showing him what his life would have been like if he had never existed, and how wonderful he really has it. It's the kind of film that will touch you forever and is worth seeing multiple times.

Also, check out "The Family Man" with Nicolas Cage. It's another Christmas theme movie where a wealthy powerful Wall Street CEO is given a glimpse by an angel of an alternate life he could have had if he had married his college sweetheart. It's the kind of film that makes you realize what you're missing by not having a family, and will make you wish you did have a family. The anti-marriage folks here should see it.
