Excluding the "I visit asia or EE every once a year" crowd.

Which country, and for how long?

Most that are living abroad like have2fly, world traveller, and others are living abroad but have left the forum.

I am living abroad permanently.
Originally from Europe, moving finally to Japan, out of Europe since more than 35 years. Never back even for vacation, when on vacation I am going to Thailand or to Philippines or other Asian destinations.

winstons not living abroad permanently i think? I think hes just visiting places around and then maybe eventually going tack to USA i suspect. I think hell be back in america in 1 year when he finds out that Chinese women are horrible and angeles city bargirls are too expensive to be utilized frequently on his online income.

Today I handed in my notice at work - next month I return to living abroad.

The country I am going to live in next?

Spain!

After that... um, I haven't got that far but I will be going to Germany in July. That's all I know.

How many people are actually living BETTER abroad, if we are playing the odds game it should be losers abroad cause more have lost than won by going abroad.


Banano, ghost, maverick, zboy, winston, bstyle, me, Mr. S, xiangmao, hero, etc are just some of many examples of people who failed abroad and in fact ran into many disasters (getting girls pregnant, drama, scammed, cheated on, false hopes and lost money) and their life was no better or in some cases WORSE. hammanta and will n dowd seem to enjoy non c0mmittal sex and running around as their goal so im not sure you could classify them as success or failure cause they aren't serious.

The only ones ive seen who genuinely have a better life abroad are Rock, pete, davewe, mguy, taco, ladislav, falcon and maybe a few select other posters that have come and gone. Not exactly a huge number. I wouldn't put starchild in that group cause he could find a beautiful wife in india but chooses to monger so his life is better in India not philippines. Taco was miserable in the philippines and was on verge of disaster and he married an average looking single mom with baggage but i put him on the list cause he expatted back to the u.s and is gonna get his wife so i guess the story will end ok. Otherwise he would have been on the failure list too. Outwest had one failure and one success and many other failures before that so hes net neutral.
