What percentage of women in the world are prostitutes?

Based on whatever you want to base it on, in your opinion, if you had to take an educated guess, what percentage of females on earth are whores? That includes every type of whore.
Oh, and why do whores become whores?
Oooh, oooh, and what parts of the world have more whores?

Opinions why women become whores are divided. For sure not every woman is forced into prostitution, and some of them are very rich, in general I think any good looking woman in almost every place in this world can earn much more money by prostitution than by any other work.

Put it his way, the majority of women, especially in the West, would sell themselves to a man providing a) They considered him to be at least average looking with decent hygiene b) The money was deemed to be good enough c) What went on in that motel stays in that motel.
