Why do you ask? Of course the answer is no, they can not.

Most men don't want their women going out and making new male friends. Why? Because we all know the truth deep down. Most women don't want their men going out and befriending new women. Why? Because they all know the truth.

Your wife or GF should never put herself in a position where certain things could happen. It isnt a matter of trust. It is a matter of respect. That means, unless the man is a relative, she should not be in an intimate place alone with him. That would be a compromising position.

For example, if you as a man have something to lose, and random women wanted to have conversations alone with you, would you do it? Or would you rather have someone else in the room as a witness to protect yourself? You wouldnt want to put yourself in a compromising position to be alone with a random woman, because you never know what that woman can claim you did to her.

Your woman should be unassailable in that aspect. She should know better than to put herself in a compromising position, especially one in which people could assume things happened, whether they did or didnt.
