I recently remembered a movie I watched several years ago, probably when I was 18 or 19.

It's about a girl that happens to find a magical book. She can kill people with it and it's magic is death. She is bullied and she uses it to kill some of the popular kills. One of the popular girls steals it and tries to kill her near the end. Some viewers said it seemed like it copied the idea off the Japanese anime Death Note.

I have been having trouble finding the name of that movie.

Don't know, but its American precursor in the '70s was Carrie.

It's always difficult trying to remember something that memory doesn't recall. It's been a long time so worth a watch again which is why I'm trying to find it.

I entered the correct combination of words on a Google search and found the name of the movie.

It was the fifth result.

It was originally a TV Movie called Devil's Diary (2007), renamed Teenager's Diary.
