The high life? Well, to live the high life anywhere, you need to bring skills to the table - doctors, pilots, economists - they earn a lot but there is also a lot of stress and pressure in their lives.NorthAmericanguy wrote:
Sure you can move overseas and find a job but the general consensus is that you can't make enough money from teaching English to be able to have fun with girls and live the high life.
Happier Abroad - I don't think - is about living the high life, no, you won't live the high life teaching English but you will live an interesting life where you will meet friends, women and never be short of money without breaking your soul, stuck in some cubicle for 40 plus hours a week.
Fun with girls? What some of you chaps need to realise is that 'fun with girls' can only be part of the equation of being happy anywhere. Chasing skirt hasn't made our dear leader on here, happy. For him, he runs around the Far East like an oversexed Jack Russell, does he seem contented? He would be more content if he settled somewhere, found a job he enjoys, took up a sport, get fit, learn new skills and then a decent girl will come to him, instead of going to the fleshpots of the planet, f***ing whores.
