I used the Internet as a university student in 1991, and I've tried to have access since then. It was cool when Netscape and web pages came out. I wish they would have stuck with grey backgrounds. I don't know why most people like to look at a light bulb.
I am not sure, about since 1990 or earlier, with dial-up, later on with ISDN Router, computer 33 mHz, HDD 50 MB, windows 3.0, Fujitsu browser, Japanese operating system.
Now I am using optical router, 100 Mbps is now the standard speed for home-connection. At this moment speed is 94 Mbps download, and 75 Mbps upload within Tokyo area. quite fast.
South Korea internet is still a bit faster than the Japanese one. I think here in Asia after South Korea, Japan is no. 2 concerning internet services.
