Yes Merry Christmas to everyone and especially our beloved leader.

This is the first time I have ever spent Christmas abroad, away from friends and family.

Christmas in China is a bit strange, after all Christmas trees are on display all year round. I've learnt that Chinese people give each other red apples. But not much else goes on. They're still a bit hard line in my province as far as religion goes. But on the other hand, they're desparate to have more consumerism, so it's kind of tolerated.
