Hi all,

Check out these video clips of my friend trying to talk to strangers in public in America. He sent them to me and I found them very revealing and reflective of what I've been saying about my own experience. So I put them together and made a little promo video for my site. Check it out. It's pretty sad huh? What do you think?

PS - I used the soundtrack of the Batman movie Dark Knight as the background during the slides.

so true. It's definitely different in Germany, at least in Bavaria. That's not to say that you won't get people who will respond like that but that there are so many more people won't respond like THAT.

I think it's probably the crime and the weirdos we have, but it may just be a clickish behavioral pattern that is instilled in people from high school.

I read an article on the internet that said studies have shown that the poorer a country is, the more friendlier the people are. That explains a lot! As far the cliquishness of Americans, I believe that may start in high school and continues on throughout ones life. God forbid you socialize with people you don't know! You are supposed to stay within your social circles!

Is it possible to reupload the original video you posted? It's been removed from youtube.

I agree with deX. I wondered why it was removed? Feminists?

Funny animated video about talking to strangers in America and how difficult and awkward it is. The narrator doesn't even like talking to strangers himself. It's interesting he admits it.

Video removal showing how talking to strangers is a capital felony under Federal law in the United States. Aggressively and heavily investigated by the FBI, the United States Department of Homeland Security, the United States National Guard, the United States Military, the United States Marshals, the United States Supreme Court, and with a mandatory sentence of three hundred (300) years to life in Federal prison and/or the death penalty, use of deadly force authorized.

That was a funny video but very true and insightful. Talking to strangers in America is considered taboo and most people don't do it. A lot of people in the US don't even know who their neighbors are.

Not only do Americans not talk to their neighbors or even know who they are, but Americans' toxic personalities and imaginations actually turn their own neighbors into violent gang bangers and destructive vandals.
