For Asian Americans to discuss Asian American issues and topics.
With all the anger raised by AA males I have noticed that there is no big movement among them to get online and bring over a nice girl from VN, Thailand, Philippines, etc.
You can get on various Asian dating sites and there are hundreds of thousands of gorgeous Asian girls starving for love, dying to meet a nice guy, get married and go live in the US. And they will be twice as happy to see someone who looks like them rather than a long-nosed, 6 foot tall and 200 lbs Joe. But who is mostly browsing these sites? White and sometimes black guys.
Singaporeans and Koreans fly in droves to VN and Cambodia, and the TWese go to China to get beautiful , mostly virgin and clean traditional wives. But you rarely hear about AA men doing that. Why?
So who flies to Asia out of the US ( the West) to get girls- mostly white guys! Isn't it ridiculous? You have all these pasty-faced corn bred white men getting married in Asia and bringing the girls back to the US while so many angry AA are in the US frustrated as heck and b-tching about AA girls dating white guys and organizing their Mein Kampf movements.
All the while so many white guys are actively mixing with Asians through the so called mail order bride industry.
Also, you rarely see AA guys flying to the FSU. Granted, maybe those girls are not that anxious to meet a Chinese American but they are far less prejudiced than Anglo girls in the USA.

A lot of guys do bring foreign wives to the US. I know many who personally brought one over. The thing is that most of these guys are themselves Asian immigrants who have lived and worked here for a while. One day they feel lonely and go back to their home country or a similar country to find a wife. You don't hear about them because they usually don't speak English and don't go online, so they're outside of most "westernized" social circles. They travel directly to the country to find wife. It's really easy to find a wife overseas if you already speak the language and know the culture--cause you're from there. I have the disposition of being "stuck in two worlds" so I'm aware of things like this.
Most westernized/English-speaking Asian American guys don't go for it because there's a stigma attached to getting a wife from a poorer country. It's "cheating" or "it's not real love because the girl is poor". This stigma applies to anyone of any race who looks for foreign brides. It's funny that people stigmatize others for it but we live in a country with so many broken relationships and divorces that most don't know what real love is. Also, most AA guys aren't even aware that the option is a viable one. They wouldn't even know where/how to start looking for one. This included me at one time. Americans in general have been brainwashed and taught warped things about relationships for far too long.

I am a terrible person.
I might. Lad, you said I might do well in E. Europe. Dragon said to check out Vietnamese girls. I'd normally tend towards Europe, but being that I want to raise a family I like the idea of maintaining culture. It's that kind of cohesiveness that lends itself to the establishment of many generations. I like Taoism about as much as I do Mormonism. Plus with so much being said of the Tiger Economies and the rise of China, plus U.S. entering a Lost Decade like Japan, it just seems like a good bet to catch a wave. So I suppose I'm a (half) Asian American who's thinking quite seriously about finding not only an Asian wife, but an Asian country to live in. Malaysia perhaps.
Dragon, there's more to that.
Many Asian Americans simply can't mesh with the Asian immigrants. They are too white-washed and ashamed of their culture. Or if not ashamed of it, at least very incompetent and unknowledgeable about it. They feel awkward and ashamed of being around what they call "fobs." At school, I see the Asian Americans and Asian immigrants very clearly segregated into distinct cliques. East Asian Americans in California tend to date other East Asian Americans, and commonly date across their parents' nationalities. For example, Chinese and Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese, Vietnamese and Korean are all common pairings among the Americanized youngsters. An Americanized Chinese is far more likely to date an Americanized Korean, than to date a Chinese immigrant. On the other, Chinese immigrants consider Koreans to be complete foreigners, and rarely interact with them. A Chinese immigrant dating a Korean immigrant is very, very rare, whereas Chinese Americans dating Korean Americans is quite common. (PM me for some hard evidence / stats that I've collected.)
This is because "Asian American" is a new identity they've adopted while growing up in the US, and they communicate solely in English. There are no cultural differences to worry about, since they're all "American." For the immigrants, however, they're some specific nationality or ethnicity that is distinguished from the others by language and cultural barriers.
Now, I'm way more familiar and comfortable with Chinese culture and Chinese immigrants than most Chinese Americans are. But many other Asian Americans are too comfortable with mainstream American culture and do not feel comfortable with any Asian culture, so they would really prefer not to date an Asian immigrant - let alone go to Asia to find a wife. Even most of the lonely and desperate ones aren't quite willing to take that step yet.
I'm a little ashamed of how out of touch I am with my Asian side, tbh. So thanks, everyone on Happier Abroad. Opened my eyes from the lot of you, including everyone who's posted on this thread.
I am a well balanced and easy going person but once every five years I get mad. And I am mad as hell now.
So, in other words, they are f%^ing hypocrites- they write about how they are treated as foreigners in the USA and how the evil prideful and prejudiced whites discriminate against them and how Asian girls go after white guys and betray their "race", and then they turn around and snub their own flesh and blood while white people do not snub the Asian immigrants to that extent.
It was totally ridiculous for me to come back to CA and then meet Japanese Americans who would proudly announce they were Japanese but I spoke Japanese and they did not. Same with many stateside so called Filipinos. I spoke Tagalog better than they did. They just knew a few words. None of those Asian Americans were impressed by my Asian language skills but rather felt scorn and mild disgust for anything Asian - linguistically that is. I ended up speaking Japanese to white people who had lived in Japan ( and immigrants of course). Filipinos who had been in the USA for decades felt that I was making fun of their culture. Total wackiness.
I think this is so much the same with so many other groups in the USA. African /Caribbean people who come to the US to study or immigrate do not have black American friends, but mostly white. Hispanic Americans rarely date Mexican girls who are in the US. Not only you have race discrimination in the USA but you have races inside of races and hierarchies even more vicious than the much discussed black-white one, etc.
There is shyt within shyt.
Really sick shyt and totally unacceptable. I have no compassion for such Asian Americans.
A brain is a terrible thing to wash!
Thanks Ladislav, you have also just put my own feelings into words. Most people don't seem to get why many other Asian Americans - both male and female - irritate me so much.
I'm mad too.
Let me give the example of "Evelyn Lin," a pseudonym of some sleezy, white-washed Chinese-American adult model in Southern California. She's a quite typical example of many white-washed AA girls in California colleges. Many Asian-American guys aren't that different from her. They still prefer trashy Americanized females like her.
I hate how they glance at me sideways on the bus, and only approach me to sell me something for their fundraiser, or to try to get me to join their fanatical fellowship. I hate how they are even more frustrating to talk to than the white and black American women.
I'm ranting about this because I'm stuck around these people in California right now. I'll be out of here soon.
Just look at this airhead with a fake "Hello Kitty" smile, and whiny suburban white girl accent that makes me want to jump off a cliff.
So, bottom line: If many Asian-American men are complaining because they want those type of women, and want nothing to do with the actual Asian immigrants or Asians in their home countries, then that's their problem.
I'll leave it at that, and will get back to practical matters, such as working on projects and planning trips.
Stirring the pot...
.. I hope this prompts at least one guy to get what he wants.
I'm Asian American. I went back to Asia to date girls in TW/SG/MY, and was engaged to my ex-finance in Taipei back in 2007-2008.
Many Taiwanese Americans date Taiwanese (or Chinese) college students in US for study abroad. Taiwan is a small island but ranks 5th or 6th in most number of college students sent to the US. Back in 1993-1994 TW sent ~38,000 college students to the US, in 2009-2010 the number had declined to 27,000 due to lower birth rate. Approx. 55% of the students are graduate level (i.e. MBA students). In comparison, SK sent 72,000, India sent 105,000, and China sent 128,000.
Although men outnumber women by birth in the East Asian countries, women out-number men by a large margin in study abroad. This is also true for Taiwanese post-college students on working holiday in AU. I have personally dated a number of oversea students from Asia, and know many Taiwanese/Chinese Americans who did the same. In colleges there are Taiwanese & Chinese student associations, plus numerous Asian American associations with local chapters. My current fiance used to run a local chapter and had ~700 members, when they hold events they rent the entire club. If you're "in", there are many opportunities to meet people.
Dating oversea college students does have some pitfalls. A minority of oversea female Asian college students are here to specifically look for a citizen to marry, because they don't want to move back. This type of girl can be very "cut-throat", if they don't feel that you'd provide what they're looking for, they'd bail and move on quickly to someone else. Others may only be interested in dating you while they're here, and as soon as they depart for home, you'd be quickly forgotten. I've sent several GF's off at LAX for home in the past, knowing that they'd probably never return and I'm the one who's left behind. It's NOT a good feeling. So if you can't "get over it" quickly, expect many heartaches.

Thanks for the thread, Falcon.
I TOTALLY feel like the term "Asian" can be substituted for the term "Black" for this whole thread based on the synonymous intonations here!!! LOL
Ctrl+H (Replace)! )
Now you guys see how Asian men and beta/omega Black men are feeling in America - totally disgruntled.

Thanks, abcdavid01, I like to keep things optimistic in the long run.
Absolutely! And "Black" can be definitely substituted for the term "Asian" in all those threads on black Americans. Like in Just Say NO to Today's American Black Females.
Ah, but you see, you are foreign-born. So, you can relate to that. I am primarily talking about AA who have been born and raised here. You hardly ever see them going to Asia to find women. Even Filipino Americans- what's up with them? You almost never see them in the Philippines with local girls, dating, getting married and all. It is always the white guy from the US who dates girls and sometimes a black guy.
