Having lots of luck in Mexico... much better now!!

Postby manly5000 » Sat Nov 01, 2014 7:27 am

*****I've changed the title of this thread as the original "all BAD" statement is no longer relevant or accurate. I am leaving my below OP just for reference (and for laughs, for y'all and for whenever I need to remind myself WHY I should not drink and post!!)********

Hi all,

I've been abroad for almost a month now and I thought I'd drop in and leave a report, of sorts.

I'm in Mexico and will be going to Brazil in 3 weeks. As far as the traveling and exploration of a new country goes, I'm having a great time, seeing lots of neat sights, and having lots of time to think and reflect on who I am and where my life is headed.

As far as the women go, however, things couldn't be worse. I've experienced nothing but misery trying to interact with them, and I've been to many different cities across the country. Guadalajara, Ensenada, Puerto Vallarta, and Oaxaca. Soon to come, San Cristobal and Mexico City.

After spending almost a month in Mexico, I am saddened and rather shocked to report that they, believe it or not, seem to be WORSE than American females. This summarizes my experiences and observations over the last 3.5 weeks:

My experiences so far with Mexican Women:

- Ensenada - a woman in her late 40s that I hit it off with at a dance club. She initially showed interest in me, danced really close and intimately, and then refused to hang out with me in downtown the next day. Claimed that she had a "mental block" that would make her feel like we were in a relationship, whatever that means. Proceeded to flake out and block all my attempts to escalate.
- Guadalajara - 2 younger girls dancing cumbia with me, making a bit of small talk in a loud club. After trying my best to socialize with them, I danced with one and as soon as the song was over, she rushed to another guy in the club to dance, leaving me in the dust.
- Puerto Vallarta - The lady that was renting her apartment to me brought one of her friends along to go salsa dancing with me. We all hung out, and I seemed to hit it off really well with her, and we danced very close and intimate at the salsa club. Afterwards she kept me at a great distance and went completely cold. This lady was divorced and had children, her age approximately late 30s to early 40s and she blew me off.
- Puerto Vallarta again - 4 young drunk girls were hanging all over me during a bus ride. One specifically was sitting next to me, putting her arm around me and making small talk, and finally put her head on my shoulder and fell asleep, much to the enjoyment and giggles of her friends. When the bus ride was over they had no interest in associating with me further or hanging out. Just random drunken skank bullsh!t.
- Guadalajara take 2 - Went to Chapultepec Avenue which is the big "party destination" in the city. Was disappointed as there were only a few bars there, but stumbled upon a dance club that played electro-house music. I went down there and danced my ass off, and the only fleeting "interest" I got from a female was one that was with another guy, yet had been looking at me all night at the bar. When I was on the floor killing it with my dancing, she briefly approached me, but stayed at a distance. After a literal 5 seconds of looking at me she turned around and walked away, never to be seen again. Other girls came and went all night but absolutely NONE of them showed interest in me or my dancing.
- Oaxaca - The lady I'm renting a room from has a 21 year old daughter that came to visit for "Dia de las muertas" week/weekend. We seemed to hit it off and get along really well, and she wanted me to come out to Centro with her friends tonight, Friday night (Halloween). However, when the time came to go and I was all dressed and ready, her mom told me she had already left. Faking interest and blowing me off. Just the icing on the cake to all that is my experience with Mexican females.

General observations:

- Right away I noticed that Mexican females will not make eye contact, and in fact walk around with the same pissed off look on their faces that Ameriskanks do
- If any of them do make eye contact, roughly only one in 30 will smile. The rest look away even though i have a happy, pleasant look on my face
- Some are friendly when you try to talk to them but most are rather snobby and appear to have no interest in making conversation or getting to know you. Even the friendly ones appear to be in a hurry to go and make no attempt to converse further.
- Lots of mexican dudes seem to like me and think I'm cool. However, despite all I ever read about people in Latin America being gung-ho about setting people up with their friends, cousins, sister, etc etc etc, nobody has shown any interest in doing such a thing for me. The whole thing seems to be one big lie.

Oh and as far as Latin American Cupid goes, it has been completely worthless. 9/10 of my emails have gone unanswered, and the ones that get a reply turn out to be from a chick who is as flaky as any I've ever seen. I paid for gold membership so I could try to get the ball rolling with these latina females, but it has been absolutely worthless up to this point.

So there's my report. It's not a real trip report per se, so I'm posting it in General. I don't know if Brazil will turn out to be any different, but my one saving grace there is that I have a friend/contact in Rio that wants to introduce me to women. I honestly don't know what to expect though because I expected Mexico to be completely different than it turned out to be.

I will be in Brazil for 3 months and I'm seriously tempted to break it up with a trip to the Philippines for a month or so... with what I"ve seen in Mexico, I'm thinking that the PI might be my only real chance to find what I'm looking for. I thought I had a lot more going for me, but apparently I don't. I'm every bit as invisible to Mexicanas as I am to Ameriskanks, if not more. At least in America I could get girls if I really tried.

If Mexico has been this awful, maybe Brazil won't be any better and maybe the Philippines is my only hope. I really don't know anymore.

I wish I could forget women entirely and completely go MGTOW/Ghost. Maybe that's the only answer. However, that is an extremely tough pill to swallow since I really want my own family and kids.

Anyway I'm a bit disappointed and a bit drunk, so there's my rant. Looking forward to any comments and input you guys have to offer.

Oh and on another note -- I feel like a complete loser going out to bars, clubs, and restaurants by myself here. I remember reading people say in the past that in other countries, if you are alone, people will go out of their way to interact with you and welcome you into their groups. From what I've experienced first hand though, that is complete BULLSH!T.

I'm every bit as alone in public in Mexico as I was in America. Everybody ignores me and treats me like a leper. It's all one big crock of sh!t.

are you mexican american or white? are you fluent in spanish when talking?

Personally growing up in california I hate mexicans in general and I hate the women. Not only that but latin america is the most dangerous place in the world especially mexico. YOud have to PAY ME to go south of the border.

why the hell did you pick mexico?

Brazil is known for violence and loud violent people so obviously "latin america" isn't for you so go elsewhere.

you might want to also consider indonesia, vietnam which aren't mongered. They are on my todo list possibly someday.

why do you want kids? Only women want kids. Thats a female trait. The only reason why i want women is for sex and cause im lonely. Otherwise i would go MGTOW. im just too sexual and needy to be MGTOW but its definitely has its merits. Id rather be MGTOW though then raise a family.

Mexico isn't dangerous. I walk around and explore by myself all the time and I'm as pasty white as they come. I like Latin American and am fairly advanced in Spanish. The "dangerous" bit is a bunch of MSM bullshit really.

I picked Latin America because I like Latin America. The women however are proving to be complete crap.

Its not msm propoganda. Mexico is the most dangerous country in the world. And brazil is also. Almost every foreigner gets robbed or mugged in brazil from what everyone says. Your just lucky. youd be an idiot to go to brazil as a white guy after already being stupid enough to take your chances in mexico. I know the happier abroader guys will say otherwise but ive heard countless stories about latin america and frankly there is no benefits to going to those hellholes.

Yep and ill continue to be safe than live in delusion.

Anyways If you want a good woman there you need to get away from the bars. What makes yo think your gonna find a quality girl in a bar just cause your in a poorer version of los angeles?

Hey manly, that's bad ass that you are traveling. That's what a "real" man does. Congratulations on being a real man (unlike many who only talk about foreign travel).

Regarding your comment about it being BS that people in other countries will be outwardly friendly and invite you to join them, I've read that that happens only in Europe. I don't think Winston or anyone else claimed that people are hat way in Latin America or Asia. My buddy experienced that last year in Greece.

Now, about your bad luck in Mexico, well, I can't comment as I haven't been there except for cancun which is like another America. But my theory is that Mexico is too close to the US such that gringos are nothing special so they don't really stand out or get much attention. I think the farther away from the US, the more success you'll have. I will kind of agree with you on one thing, ....when I was in Peru I did not have any better luck being able to meet women at bars and clubs than in America. In fact, it may have been even harder. And when I checked out the night life while in Colombia, I did not notice any girls eyeing me or flirting with me but since I was already committed, I didn't try to line up any girls from Latin Cupid but my previous experience on Latin dating sites gave me a sense that as in Peru, I could have met a lot of women in Colombia if I wanted to. I think you are right a it Mexico, it seems to not be as easy there as other Latin countries. Mexico is too close to the US so gringos are a common site, there is no exotic novelty about gringos in Mexico. I suspect your luck will totally change in Brazil. My very average looking friend totally killed it in Brazil. He is pretty well traveled (he even accompanied me to the Philippines a few times) and he said no place was as easy to pull as was Brazil. Though, he speaks a little Portuguese and Spanish so that probably gave him a huge edge over American guys who don't speak any of the language. You should have no problem getting a fair amount of girls from Brazil on Latin Cupid to meet up with you. The only limiting factor may be if you can't speak any Portuguese. But man, every time Ive been on Latin Cupid, I couldn't keep up with all the emails of interest I would get there (though oddly enough, I admit that I rarely got messages from Mexican girls). If you can't pull via Latin Cupid, you must be one fugly dude! Lol.

Now, on ot the Philippines, if you can squeeze in a visit to the Philippines, why wouldn't you do that? I would think the idea is to travel to as many countries as possible. Why spend all your time in one or two countries only? In the Philippines, pulling from bars and clubs was fairly easy, way easier than the US or anywhere else I've been. And the Philippines is the only country where women stare and gawked at me. If you want a boost in self esteem, you definitely should go to the Philippines. My first trip to the Philippines was a life changer for me as it is for many guys. The women there love Americans and even if you arnt very good looking, or are old, or a bit over weight, you can still draw a lot of interest from young hot women there!! Seriously, any man who can't pull or get laid in the Philippines REALLY does have serious issues. That's no joke. In fact, I've never once heard of any guy traveling there and saying he had trouble pulling there. Though, I would say that unless you are outgoing and can easily approach women, don't count on being able to meet women during the day. Filipinas may eye ball you there but they are too shy to initiate an approach, so you'd have to do the approaches. Due to my shyness in cold approaching and initiating flirtation with women,(even in the Philippines) I rarely was able to get numbers with day game. 80% of my luck in the Philippines came from Internet dating such as date in Asia, cherry blossoms and filipina Cupid and the rest from bars and clubs. Of course, you can always just go to the red light district of angeles city and have guaranteed fun. In fact, as long as you don't have anything again places like that, I would highly recommend all newbies to go to angeles city first. There are a lot of other western guys there in angeles city walking the bars so you'd have a blast meeting other people to party with while there and they would also be happy to show you the ropes too. The girls are more down to earth and genuine there too (including the bar girls).

Just browse U tube videos on each country such as the philippines, such as "dating in the Philippines" or "angeles city" or "dating in Brazil" or whatever search titles you can think of for whatever country. That will give you quite an accurate idea of what to expect. Keep in mind that at least in the Philippines, you won't have language problems. After 8 trips there, I'd say that about 90% of the people speak English. You'll be able to relate better with Filipinas as they are already familiar with western ideals than compared to Latinas.

With your your arrogance and foul mouth and your obsession to latin america you're just suffering from self white hate and entitlement. Thats why the women dont like you there they can see what your all about. They know your one of those self white hating liberals with an arrogant attitude that wants an easy lay from a skank in the bar.

Newlife, Mexico and Brazil are safe if you know where to go and not to go. It's only when guys are stupid enough to go to the "bad" areas that they run into trouble. My friend just got back from 2 months in Brazil and said he felt safe there.

Overall, I felt I didn't get much attention in Latin America, but I DID get LOTS of attention (giggles and stares lol) from the women in the Philippines . Don't miss out on the Phils, they are the most friendly people in the world.

This guy travis kraft has the best educational videos for Americans who want to travel to the Phils, here is what I think is his best video for guys considering visiting there.

There is no safe place in mexico or brazil when entire cities are coopted by organized crime.

Did you ever do any daygame in latin america? Yes filipinas are very shy. Plus you look like a monger if you hit them up cause you stand out as a foreigner so im not sure how receptive the average filipina is. I think if one is to do daygame in phillly you have to do it in a nonchalant way like for example fi a girl sits next to you on a bus or your buying food etc. As a white guy yo become too noticeable if you just try to prowl around the malls or whatever to hit up girls. Some old guy said he handed out numbers to these girls and sometimes they called back. So thats another way they can save face cause they got your card.

This is about the same what my co-worker was telling me, with his wife from Brazil and living there for 6 years. Similar comment I got also from another friend from USA with his wife from Mexico, visiting a few places in Mexico every year for vacation since over 20 years. No problems at all.

I can say the same about Philippines, and comparing our experiences, we found them to be very similar. Somewhat 'common sense'.

For sure in such countries stay away from the street late night up to early morning. Stay inside or nearby your hotel.

If going out by day, carry only with you what is absolutely necessary. Take a taxi straight from your hotel, even if it is more expensive.
Don't enter any slum area to look there for girls. Do not follow unknown people who 'invite' you. Do not buy things from street vendors, do not give anything to beggars or streetchildren. Many just want to see your wallet, and suddenly it's gone by a pickpocket.

Don't carry anything with you which is expensive, like watches, rings etc. etc.

Don't invite strangers in your rooms, never drink so much that you don't know anymore where you are. No drugs and reject any offer regarding gambling.

Be prepared for robbery, stay calm, do not resist, give them what they want if they ask you at gunpoint or knifepoint.

Did I forget something? Please post it here...
