Hanging out in Kiev, Ukraine!

So far I haven't seen all these HOT chicks people talk about. In fact, I saw more good looking chicks in Poland!

Polish girls and Ukrainian girls are pretty similar in the looks department, honestly. Downside I found to Ukraine was that it's much harder to find girls that speak decent English. That, coupled with the street and business signs all being in Cyrillic, the scam artists operating everywhere (be careful, MANY ATMs are set up with card skimmers, it happened to me while I was over), and the overall unrest in Ukraine (there were street protestors everywhere when I was there because of certain events that had transpired, many of them Neonazis that were out for American and Jewish blood, but I doubt unrest has gotten better with the Russia situation) just made dating a hassle compared to Poland.

Poland was a 7.5/10, Ukraine was a 6/10. It's probably 100x better if you speak Russian though.

On the upside, the food in Poland is generally terrible. You can't do worse anywhere in Europe. so Ukraine was a welcome break for my palate.

I hear ya. I went to Kiev and Odessa and was not impressed by the women. Ukrainian women do not live up to the hype.

Poland has more money than Ukraine thus the women can take better care of themselves. So it's the same all over the world i.e. more money better looks.

I haven't seen street protestors besides a few students on the weekend. This place is calm and like any other city. You can get scammed anywhere if you're not diligent and there are more Neonazis in Poland than Ukraine. Nothing here is too shockering if you grow up in a major US city.

The worse food in Europe is probably in Scandinavia. Scandinavian food is boring and tastes like cardboard. Ukrainian food is just super fresh adding an extra level of taste.

You got a lot of loser guys (who live in the middle of nowhere) going to these place and reporting back. Some of them probably haven't seen a chick in 10 plus years

Wait a second...

There are attractive women in Ukraine, just as many as any place else. It's been 8 years now, but I found plenty of attractive women. I never mentioned once they had magazine model looks, though some of them did.

Slavic women (Polish women are pretty much the same) if you like that sort of look, you should find it entertaining.

Oh, that grimy train station! That's where seasonal laborers and middle aged peasants mill about. Not many young girls hang out there.

You have got to look for them in restaurants, on Khreschatic, etc.

And yes, the food is Ukraine's saving grace at any time. Just like that of Thailand. Even the tiniest stall will have delicious food that will make you have an oral orgasm. But be careful- it will make you fat in a week. It's peasant food meant to give energy to wheat reapers. 5000 calories per meal is not uncommon.

In the Philippines, otoh,even a 5 star restaurant will have almost inedible for foreigners food- and you sit there about to vomit while you see happy Filipinos munching away at it.

The language/culture is also a serious issue. Eastern Slavs and Anglos ( I mean cultural Anglos- the monolingual ones) do not mingle well in their natural form- meaning - an all American boy who speaks only English and has little knowledge of other cultures and a bilingual ( Russian/Ukrainian speaking) local girl will not make a good mix. Because they can't talk to each other. It has to be at least one of them willing to appreciate and learn the culture and language of the other to give the relationship a chance. Plus, everything is in Cyrillic. Which is not hard to learn- if you can read fraternity acronyms, you can read most of Cyrillic already. But it's still a hassle.

The demonstrations are no longer anti-Jewish or anti-American. Those days are long gone. The enemy of Ukraine is again Russia- they are waking up to it after a 100 year hiatus. Trust me-- it's better to be a Jew and a black (American) man in Ukraine now than to be a Russian. Jews and Neo Nazis made up there in a very simple way- rich Jews offered financial support to the Nazis ( who were poor) and these loved them for ir. Jews should have done the same in Germany.
