I flew to Cebu and we spent two days going to the Ayala Mall and SM Mall in Cebu. We then took the Oceanjet Ferry from Pier 1 in Cebu to Siquijor Island, and we spent 6 days doing an Island vacation. Siquijor Island has a lot of places to go visit, and we rented a scooter for all 6 days. We traveled all over the Island on the scooter, and we went snorkeling and swimming at several of the fresh water falls. We went to Baha Bar several times to eat dinner, and we also had dinner and breakfast at our resort. We stayed at Islandia Beach Resort which I liked because it is quiet and tucked away in an area that does not have a lot of traffic. If you have never been to the Philz you will not be aware of all the cats and dogs running around all over the place, and I liked Islandia Resort because it did not have but a few dogs and cats hanging around. After our 6 days were over we took the Oceanjet Ferry back to Cebu, and we flew on Cebu Pacific to my girlfriends province and spent two days visiting her family and having a Lechon BBQ. I also borrowed her brothers Honda scooter, and my gf and I drove all over her local area shopping and visiting her friends. My gf was introducing me to her aunts and friends so that they could size me up and check me out to see if my gf had found a good catch…they are sly about this. After the visit to her family and province we flew back to Cebu and spent the last two days sightseeing, and my gf talked our Grad driver into driving us around for an entire day to visit around eight of the historical sights. My gf is a good negotiator and she talked the Grab driver into running us around all day for 2,000 pesos which is about $40, and we ended up seeing almost all the historical sights in Cebu.
I liked Cebu way better than my first trip which was to Manila. Cebu is still a big city, but it was a little easier to get around inside Cebu due the smaller amount of people and less vehicles. I also liked the airport at Cebu better because it is newly built, and it was easier to get to the airport and flying in and out was just a smoother process. Cebu is filled with young women to date in the 18 to 30 year old age range. If I had to give you advise between Ayala Mall and SM Mall I would say stick with SM Mall because the women are more down to earth and would appeal to a normal guy not searching for a gold digger. The Ayala Mall is full of high dollar stores that cater to the upper class that love to waste money, and I saw the women that loved that kind of gold digger lifestyle. If you travel to Cebu and cold approach women at SM Mall you should have plenty of dates within 1-3 days time. So, there is my trip report after my travels to Cebu and beyond. Enjoy.

That sounds like an exciting trip.
How long have you and your girlfriend been together?
(writing this as a foreign woman married to an American guy for over a decade)
These stories always fascinate me
My gf and I have been together around 9 months now. I will travel back to see her on more trips, but I have to work and find the time to go back. These international relationships take time, so you have to be prepared for that.
When I met my husband, I was already living in America, although he was living in Texas and I was in the Chicago area.
All good relationships take time, and I'm glad that you have opportunities to travel back and forth.
I live in Texas. What country are you from? I tried dating a few foreign women in America, but they had been brain washed by our culture and feminism and it was impossible to make a lasting relationship with them. I observed six different American couples on this last trip to Siquijor, and these couples were all in spats and arguments and I thought to myself that I am witnessing feminism at work. It was like these American couples came on vacation together to the Philippines, but there was thousands of miles of distance between them...it was like a steel wall was between them.
Where in Texas? My husband lived in Marble Falls for a while.
I'm from Poland, but I've been in the States since I was 9. (I'm 35 now)
I like a healthy dose of equality (as in, men and women are different, but equal...I mean, our graves are all the same size, right?), but the feminism stuff is way out of hand.
I do retain quite a bit of the Polish culture (we celebrate Polish Christmas Eve, I cook a lot of Polish food, and still speak Polish every day. My daughters are also learning Polish) and I'm not sure how "Americanized" I consider myself (although I am a citizen, something I did about 3 years before I met my husband).
I watch a lot of couples where we are (NC) and the distance is pretty visible. I think a lot of it is that communication is almost nonexistent and that people are too quick to divorce (Oh, it's not working out, we'll just get a divorce I guess).
Anyway, sorry for the rant.
Tell me more about your girlfriend!
You should have visited Bohol for an extended period of time seeing you passed by on your journey between Siquijor and Cebu. So much to see.
Siquijor's such a cool island to chill out in. Did you go cliff jumping in Salagdoong?
And which part of Mindanao did you go? Was it one of the "risky" provinces?
Agree about the airport in Cebu being much nicer than Manila.
I did not go cliff jumping, but we went to three of the natural waterfalls and went swimming and they had a rope swing to jump from.
I am already planning my next trip and it will be to Bohol, and I like that you can catch the ferry from Cebu Pier 1 to Tagabilaran/Bohol.
My gf is from Sibugay and I flew into Pagadian airport. My gf wanted me to get an escort because her brother is a police officer. The escort would have cost me 4-5k pesos, and i opted not to get the escort. We rode the bus from Pagadian to her province, and I felt safe the entire time.
I am from Marble Falls, so it is a small world.
I have a friend in Florida that is married to a woman from Poland and he says that Poland is the best FSU country to get a good wife. I am glad to hear that you are teaching your children about Polish traditions and I believe this is an important part of bringing your children up correctly. I believe it is important for a foreign woman to stay away from our American culture of feminism because it will only ruin the good Polish upbringing that you were raised with.
My gf is 35 years old and never married with no children, and this was something that I was searching for because American women once divorced come with so much baggage and the trauma of their children being put thru divorce that it is impossible to form a lasting relationship with them. My gf is a nurse in the hospital there in her province. I am very impressed by the way my gf takes care of me because I have never received this level of care from any American woman to include my wife. I tell my gf that American women only love you on the surface, and as soon as something better comes along they will throw you and there children's lives in the garbage with divorce rape and not think anything about it. I mentor young guys and tell them to look overseas if they want to find a good wife where they have a better chance of not being divorced raped.
You guys are making me feel so jealous. I am disabled, receive disability, and could never afford a trip to Mexico, let alone the Philippines. I am just literally a loser in a sea of gold diggers that the only women that do want men only want gang bangers and thugs with stolen luxury sports cars and who live in massive highrise lofts, or guys that live like movie stars in enormous luxury mega mansions and palaces the size of the New York Public Library and Bryant Park. And especially to know that it is easier for a banana plant to thrive in Antarctica, planted in the ground and without any protection, than it is for a foreign women to set foot on American soil and retain her foreign personality (especially knowing too that American police will make like talking to strangers is a capital felony under Federal law and is grounds for the death penalty for all involved), and to have to think that maybe it really is illegal under Federal law in the United States for women to talk to guys unless it is business-related, really makes me all the more depressed.
Where in Marble Falls? When I was pregnant with my older girl, we lived on the Balcones Canyonlands Refuge. It's beautiful there!!
I think that a lot of the feminism in recent years has gotten SCARY. Equality is one thing, but this is ridiculous.
Do you think that you and your gf will get married? Would you like children some day?
This is all new to me, all of the MGOTW movement, etc...
I'm really glad you found a good lady. Relationships are HARD sometimes, both in the US and abroad
I live up on top of the hill going out FM1431 west side of Marble Falls.
My gf and I will get married, and I am in the K1 visa process now to bring her to Texas.
The women and feminism has gotten scary...your choice of words is excellent to describe their fanatical radical feminism.
I dated a lot of American women, and I would sit across the table in some restaurant and listen to these women try to soften up how they divorce raped their husband and children's lives...and I could figure out that feminism was part of what had taught these women to divorce rape their family and throw them in the garbage.
It was all these dates with broken American women that convinced me to start searching overseas.
I mentor my son who is a senior at UT Austin to not marry any American woman, but to look overseas when he wants a wife.
I do this because I have an obligation to try to guide him into a better relationship where he will not be divorce raped and have his children taken away from him...and lose lots of money, cars, and real estate.
The one sided divorce laws in America that always favor women is why many men are going MGTOW...they do not think the risks, hazards, and pitfalls with American women are worth it...and I agree.
no way!!! our home address was right on FM 1431.
It's beautiful country out there.
As far as divorce court, etc.
It's entitlement at its best...if you're with a guy and you're married and then you divorce, you're not ENTITLED to anything of his. Child support is one thing, but don't be ugly to one another and use children as pawns in a war. Ugh.
I'll agree with you that courts favor women and that isn't right...because a lot of the times the father is the better parent (see: my childhood, my Mom was on drugs and neglectful/abusive, my Dad was clearly the better parent. They stayed together because they were good little Catholics, but I wished a lot of the time that they would just divorce and I could go live with Dad).
Anyway, enough of my ranting and raving.
My in laws still live in Texas, and I need to take the kids back for a visit soon!
Are you kidding me? She will become Americanized in no time and will become destroyed goods. America's demon culture will wipe out her loving personality like the full exhaust blast of a Rolls-Royce RB-211 turbofan jet engine at maximum power from ten feet away will wipe out a domino pyramid.
Maybe better to save your money up and consider the opposite direction - to move over to Asia, get out of the USA is the right way to go.
I am not in a position to move to the Philippines because I own my company, and I am planted in Texas to run my company.
My gf has already said that she does not want/plan to associate with American women due to feminism...she said this on her own.
I have several Army buddies that have their filipina wives with them in the USA, and they all have great marriages.
I think one of the big factors is if your wife does not really care to have feminism forced upon her, and she stays away from it.
I live a country life, so I am not in some big subdivision...so I am sheltered from the toxic city and those bad vibes.
I keep the K1 quiet on here because so many people on HA are negative about marrying a foreign bride and bringing her back to the USA.
At my house I can shoot deer off my porch, and my wife is from the province which is considered country in the Philippines and she has seen pictures of my house and life and she thinks it is great.
So, it really depends on each person and their surroundings.
I would not want to bring a filipina wife to one of the big cities like Dallas, Austin, or San Antonio because in those cities she would get too exposed to the toxic culture of feminism we have in America.
