Re: Freemasons and Secret Societies: What are they about?

Post by Winston »

Im reading a book called "secret societies and subversive movements" by british historian nesta webster, written in 1924. Here are some important quotes from it about secret societies and the revolutions they engineer. As you can see, nesta webster is very knowledgeable, aware and intellectual, which is rare for a woman. Shes definitely one of the greatest female freethinkers in history.

Quotes from "secret societies and subversive" movements:

"Let it be said once and for all, secret societies have not always been formed for evil purposes. On the contrary, many have arisen from the highest aspirations of the human mind--the desire for a knowledge of eternal verities. The evil arising from such systems has usually consisted in the perversion of principles that once were pure and holy. If I do not insist further on this point, it is because a vast literature has already been devoted to the subject, so that it need only be touched on briefly here.

Now, from the earliest times groups of Initiates or "Wise Men" have existed, claiming to be in possession of esoteric doctrines known as the "Mysteries," incapable of apprehension by the vulgar, and relating to the origin and end of man, the life of the soul after death, and the nature of God or the gods. It is this exclusive attitude which constitutes the essential difference between the Initiates of the ancient world and the great Teachers of religion with whom modern occultists seek to confound them. For whilst religious leaders such as Buddha and Mohammed sought for divine knowledge in order that they might impart it to the world, the Initiates believed that sacred mysteries should not be revealed to the profane but should remain exclusively in their own keeping, although the desire for initiation might spring from the highest aspiration, the gratification, whether real or imaginary, of this desire often led to spiritual arrogance and abominable tyranny, resulting in the fearful trials, the tortures physical and mental, ending even at times in death, to which the neophyte was subjected by his superiors."

"For the final goal of world-revolution is not Socialism or even Communism, it is not a change in the existing economic system, it is not the destruction of civilization in a material sense; the revolution desired by the leaders is a moral and spiritual revolution, an anarchy of ideas by which all standards set up throughout nineteen centuries shall be reversed, all honoured traditions trampled under foot, and above all the Christian ideal finally obliterated."

"In general, the art of the conspiracy is not so much to create movements as to capture existing movements, often innocuous and even admirable in themselves, and turn them to a subversive purpose."

"But it is in the Cabala, still more than in the Talmud, that the Judaic dream of world-domination recurs with the greatest persistence."

"The hope of world-domination is therefore not an idea attributed to the Jews by "anti-Semites," but a very real and essential part of their traditions."

"It is thus not in the law of Moses thundered from Sinai, not in the dry ritual of the Talmud, but in the stupendous imaginings of the Cabala, that the real dreams and aspirations of Jewry have been transmitted through the ages."

Certainly knowledgeable. I don't think someone is smart just because they know and accept certain truths though. There's at least one thing she didn't write or maybe that you haven't quoted which is the next logical conclusion, and that is that their god truly is Satan and they serve him. That's why their goals counter Christianity and are against everything that is good and natural. You can go on Youtube right now and type in Zohar and you can see they love it, even though it is directly satanic.

But she isn't accepting certain truths. She is perceiving them with great insight, knowledge and understanding. It's not like she's accepting that 2+2=4. She is figuring things out for herself. Most people can't do that, especially women. So she is a rare kind. You see what I mean? Very few women have the insight to see what's going on beyond what the media tell them. Especially when it concerns world events. Women don't tend to do that. So Ms. Webster must be pretty unique. Right?

I mean how many women do you know who can write something like this:

"For the final goal of world-revolution is not Socialism or even Communism, it is not a change in the existing economic system, it is not the destruction of civilization in a material sense; the revolution desired by the leaders is a moral and spiritual revolution, an anarchy of ideas by which all standards set up throughout nineteen centuries shall be reversed, all honoured traditions trampled under foot, and above all the Christian ideal finally obliterated."
- Nesta Webster, Secret Societies and Subversive Movements (1924)

That's one of the most important paragraphs in her book. She sums up a complicated subject in one paragraph. This applies not only to the Communist Bolshevik Revolution, but to the Scientific and Industrial Revolution as well, which created modern society and capitalism. She obviously sees the big picture. How many women do you know who can see the big picture like this?

Anyway, you should read Nesta Webster's book "Secret Societies and Subversive Movements". It's very scholarly and in-depth. Even though it was written in 1924, it's still true and applies today. You would like it.

I don't know if Nesta Webster mentioned that secret societies were worshipping Satan or not. She's a historian, not a Christian fanatic or preacher. She's supposed to try to be objective, not too religious. I didn't read her whole book. It's long and detailed. But she does seem to be a Christian and her book is part of the Christian book club.

I will give you that, Winston. She is unique for a woman. This also just goes to show that even ages ago, when they said women were universally oppressed, you find female names throughout history. But they always say there are so few females because blah. Look at today though. Although women have become slaves at the drone sites, there are probably no more women making history now than there ever were.

Why can't women excel in this age far more than in previous ages? Because the female mind is wired to be wife and mother, not worker bee drone or mad scientist. Are women capable? Of being drones, yes. Still few women are inclined to become mad scientists despite universities and employers actively seeking them. It's because women were designed for a different role.

Work is really meant for men to perform. Somehow women got fooled into thinking that slaving away in a factory for the man means economic independence. Nope. It just means deeper enslavement, dummies. Now both men and women got to work, and look how the kids get brainwashed into thinking like idiots at the local indoctrination centers for many hours daily, far exceeding the amount of time they spend with their own parents!

Hi all,
It looks like there's one historical book I missed that documents the Illuminati too. After John Robison's "Proofs of a Conspiracy" in 1797 and Abbe Barreul's "Code of the Illuminati" in 1798, in 1802, an American Senator named Seth Payson published "Proof of the Illuminati" about how the Illuminati had come to America and infiltrated the Freemason lodges as well as government. So there are a total of three books between 1797 and 1802 that historically document the Illuminati and its infiltration into America that are worth reading.

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4230 ... Illuminati
Strike, but hide the hand...
The end sanctifies the means...
Endeavor to gain or ruin ever rising character...
The society of the Illuminati was founded in Bavaria in the 1770s, operating covertly within the unknowing veil of honest Masonry. The Illuminati's goals were the overthrow of all government and religion, by any means at their disposal. Their methods included theft, embezzlement, murder, and assassination. Deceit, secrecy, and subterfuge were their common tools.

Linked with the Jacobians in Paris, and appearing in numerous countries under the cover of other secret societies, the Illuminati formented the terrors of the French revolution and other overthrow of the Swiss Republic, causing destruction and death across Europe.

The sect was uncovered and outlawed in 1790, which only drove it to greater secrecy. The poison of the Illuminati was announced and decried by the French Jesuit Abbe Barruel and the eminent English scientist Doctor Robison. These two men, so different in character, politics, and religion, had reached the same conclusion about the evils and effects of Illuminism. For their efforts, both were defamed and ridiclued, their characters questioned.

Seth Payson's Proof of the Illuminati draws from Barruel, Robison, and an array of other sources to show that rather than being stamped out, the Illuminati's pernicious influence was actively spreading its noxious decay. Originally written in 1802, this book still has a stark warning message that rings of truth to this day.
If you want irrevocable proof of the previous existance of the the Illuminati and how they were tied into several secret groups such as the masons, this book will provide it to you.

That being said, it's a very difficult book to get through as it was written in New England in the 1830's and the manuscripts that the book was compiled from date back to the middle of the 1700's in Europe. The language and terminology is hard to follow and the content of the book is colored by the author as he was a staunch christian minister.

I would recomend this book to only those who are really curious about the illuminati; it's too hard a book to get through without that passion. If you're looking for the actual rituals or grand designs, you'll be dissapointed. But, again, what you will get, is irrevocable proof of the past existance of the illuminati. Whether or not they still exist, I have no idea...
Here is a quick review and summary of the book by Mark Dice on YouTube.

So it certainly does look like the Illuminati really did exist in the 1700's and maybe early 1800's too. Even George Washington acknowledged this, as mentioned earlier. Whether they exist today or not is unclear. Regardless though, even if they don't exist anymore, still, their goals and agendas are being carried out by other groups today, no matter what those groups call themselves.

This book published in 1918 documents and chronicles the Illuminati scare in America in the late 18th Century.

New England and the Bavarian Illuminati - Vernon Stauffer

The rift between the nation's two political parties is caused by a Conspiracy! New England the Bavarian Illuminati is the history of the Illuminati scare that occurred in America at the end of the eighteenth century. It tells how the Federalists, including the New England clergy in particular, seized upon the idea that the Illuminati were behind the actions of the Democrats. Only a far-reaching conspiracy could explain the irreverent habits and searing attacks of the Jeffersonians. Fear of the secret Democratic Clubs, magnified by fear of the French Jacobins, made such a conspiracy readily believable. Dr. Stauffer ably details the state of American politics and religion before and after the American Revolution. He recounts the known history of the Illuminati, and reviews how knowledge of the secret organization was transmitted to America. The conspiracy alarm is traced in detail, from the first announcement of the existence of the Illuminati given during a sermon, through the heated and virulent debates in newspapers and pamphlets, and finally to the decline of the public spectacle under counter-attacks and satirical mockery. This study of the Illuminati in New England was originally published in 1918. Acclaimed from its first printing, it has since then developed a respectable position as one of the most competent and important histories on the shadowy Order of the Illuminati.

Here is another story about the Illuminati that goes back to 1666. It's very interesting and involves their Satanic messiah.

1666 Redemption Through Sin by Robert Sepehr

Very few have ever heard of Sabbatai Zevi, who declared himself the Messiah in 1666, proclaiming that redemption was available through acts of sin. Sabbateans encouraged and practiced sexual promiscuity, adultery, incest and religious orgies. After Sabbati Zevi's death in 1676, his Kabbalist successor, Jacob Frank, expanded upon and continued his occult philosophy. Jacob Frank would eventually enter into an alliance formed by Adam Weishaupt and Meyer Amshel Rothschild called the Order of the Illuminati. The objectives of this organization was to undermine the world's religions and power structures, in an effort to usher in a utopian era of global communism, which they would covertly rule by their hidden hand: the New World Order. Using secret societies, such as the Freemasons, their agenda has played itself out over the centuries, staying true to the script. The Illuminati handle opposition by a near total control of the world's media, academic opinion leaders, politicians and financiers.

1666 Redemption Through Sin: Global Conspiracy in History, Religion, Politics and Finance

Description:

Most people have heard of Jesus Christ, considered the Messiah by Christians, and who lived 2000 years ago. But very few have ever heard of Sabbatai Zevi, who declared himself the Messiah in 1666. By proclaiming redemption was available through acts of sin, he amassed a following of over one million passionate believers, about half the world's Jewish population during the 17th century.

Although many Rabbis at the time considered him a heretic, his fame extended far and wide. Sabbatai's adherents planned to abolish many ritualistic observances, because, according to the Talmud, holy obligations would no longer apply in the Messianic time. Fasting days became days of feasting and rejoicing. Sabbateans encouraged and practiced sexual promiscuity, adultery, incest and religious orgies.

After Sabbati Zevi's death in 1676, his Kabbalist successor, Jacob Frank, expanded upon and continued his occult philosophy. Frankism, a religious movement of the 18th and 19th centuries, centered on his leadership, and his claim to be the reincarnation of the Messiah Sabbatai Zevi. He, like Zevi, would perform "strange acts" that violated traditional religious taboos, such as eating fats forbidden by Jewish dietary laws, ritual sacrifice, and promoting orgies and sexual immorality. He often slept with his followers, as well as his own daughter, while preaching a doctrine that the best way to imitate God was to cross every boundary, transgress every taboo, and mix the sacred with the profane. Hebrew University of Jerusalem Professor Gershom Scholem called Jacob Frank, "one of the most frightening phenomena in the whole of Jewish history".

Still considered nothing more than theory to many, more and more people wake up each day to the possibility that this is not just a theory, but a terrifying Satanic conspiracy.

Here is the Freemason chief symbol and the 33 official degrees.

Here are police badges and emblems with the Freemasonic symbol on it. Apparently, a large percentage of police officers are Masons, especially the police chiefs. Thus they are controlled by a secret society that masks itself as a philantropic organization on the outer ring. Disturbing isn't it? It means there is a dark layer to power, organization and control in America that the masses are not privy to. Perhaps the police department itself is a Freemasonic organization. It's no wonder then why the police usually cover up crimes when elites are involved.

Here are the official goals of the Illuminati, Freemasons and Jewish Zionists, which according to British historian Nesta Webster, formed an alliance in the late 1700's since they had similar goals and could help each other accomplish them, thus they became a "dream team". lol. Now you see what the liberals, communists, democrats and atheists are all about. And what the aims of their New World Order are. It's very disturbing.

http://www.apfn.org/apfn/300.htm

1. To establish a One World Government/New World Order with a unified church and monetary system under their direction. The One World Government began to set up its church in the 1920:s and 30:s, for they realized the need for a religious belief inherent in mankind must have an outlet and, therefore, set up a "church" body to channel that belief in the direction they desired.

2. To bring about the utter destruction of all national identity and national pride, which was a primary consideration if the concept of a One World Government was to work.

3. To engineer and bring about the destruction of religion, and more especially, the Christian Religion, with the one exception, their own creation, as mentioned above.

4. To establish the ability to control of each and every person through means of mind control and what Zbignew Brzezinski called techonotronics, which would create human-like robots and a system of terror which would make Felix Dzerzinhski's Red Terror look like children at play.

5. To bring about the end to all industrialization and the production of nuclear generated electric power in what they call "the post-industrial zero-growth society". Excepted are the computer- and service industries. US industries that remain will be exported to countries such as Mexico where abundant slave labor is available. As we saw in 1993, this has become a fact through the passage of the North American Free Trade Agreement, known as NAFTA. Unemployables in the US, in the wake of industrial destruction, will either become opium-heroin and/or cocaine addicts, or become statistics in the elimination of the "excess population" process we know of today as Global 2000.

6. To encourage, and eventually legalize the use of drugs and make pornography an "art-form", which will be widely accepted and, eventually, become quite commonplace.

7. To bring about depopulation of large cities according to the trial run carried out by the Pol Pot regime in Cambodia. It is interesting to note that Pol Pot's genocidal plans were drawn up in the US by one of the Club of Rome's research foundations, and overseen by Thomas Enders, a high-ranking State Department official. It is also interesting that the committee is currently seeking to reinstate the Pol Pot butchers in Cambodia.

8. To suppress all scientific development except for those deemed beneficial by the Illuminati. Especially targeted is nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. Particularly hated are the fusion experiments currently being scorned and ridiculed by the Illuminati and its jackals of the press. Development of the fusion torch would blow the Illuminati's conception of "limited natural resources" right out of the window. A fusion torch, properly used, could create unlimited and as yet untapped natural resources, even from the most ordinary substances. Fusion torch uses are legion, and would benefit mankind in a manner which, as yet, is not even remotely comprehended by the public.

9. To cause. by means of limited wars in the advanced countries, by means of starvation and diseases in the Third World countries, the death of three billion people by the year 2050, people they call "useless eaters". The Committee of 300 (Illuminati) commissioned Cyrus Vance to write a paper on this subject of how to bring about such genocide. The paper was produced under the title "Global 2000 Report" and was accepted and approved for action by former President James Earl Carter, and Edwin Muskie, then Secretary of States, for and on behalf of the US Government. Under the terms of the Global 2000 Report, the population of the US is to be reduced by 100 million by the year of 2050.

10. To weaken the moral fiber of the nation and to demoralize workers in the labor class by creating mass unemployment. As jobs dwindle due to the post industrial zero growth policies introduced by the Club of Rome, the report envisages demoralized and discouraged workers resorting to alcohol and drugs. The youth of the land will be encouraged by means of rock music and drugs to rebel against the status quo, thus undermining and eventually destroying the family unit. In this regard, the Committee commissioned Tavistock Institute to prepare a blueprint as to how this could be achieved. Tavistock directed Stanford Research to undertake the work under the direction of Professor Willis Harmon. This work later became known as the "Aquarian Conspiracy".

11. To keep people everywhere from deciding their own destinies by means of one created crisis after another and then "managing" such crises. This will confuse and demoralize the population to the extent where faced with too many choices, apathy on a massive scale will result. In the case of the US, an agency for Crisis Management is already in place. It is called the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), whose existence I first enclosed in 1980.

12. To introduce new cults and continue to boost those already functioning which include rock music gangsters such as the Rolling Stones (a gangster group much favored by European Black Nobility), and all of the Tavistock-created rock groups which began with the Beatles.

13. To continue to build up the cult of Christian Fundamentalism begun by the British East India Company's servant Darby, which will be misused to strengthen the Zionist State of Israel by identifying with the Jews through the myth of "God's chosen people", and by donating very substantial amounts of money to what they mistakenly believe is a religious cause in the furtherance of Christianity.

14. To press for the spread of religious cults such as the Moslem Brotherhood, Moslem Fundamentalism, the Sikhs, and to carry out mind control experiments of the Jim Jones and "Son of Sam" type. It is worth noting that the late Khomeini was a creation of British Military Intelligence Div. 6, MI6. This detailed work spelled out the step-by-step process which the US Government implemented to put Khomeini in power.

15. To export "religious liberation" ideas around the world so as to undermine all existing religions, but more especially the Christian religion. This began with the "Jesuit Liberation Theology", that brought an end to the Somoza Family rule in Nicaragua, and which today is destroying El Salvador, now 25 years into a "civil war". Costa Rica and Honduras are also embroiled in revolutionary activities, instigated by the Jesuits. One very active entity engaged in the so-called liberation theology, is the Communist-oriented Mary Knoll Mission. This accounts for the extensive media attention to the murder of four of Mary Knoll's so-called nuns in El Salvador a few years ago. The four nuns were Communist subversive agents and their activities were widely documented by the Government of El Salvador. The US press and the new media refused to give any space or coverage to the mass of documentation possessed by the Salvadorian Government, which proved what the Mary Knoll Mission nuns were doing in the country. Mary Knoll is in service in many countries, and placed a leading role in bringing Communism to Rhodesia, Moçambique, Angola and South Africa.

16. To cause a total collapse of the world's economies and engender total political chaos.

17. To take control of all foreign and domestic policies of the US.

18. To give the fullest support to supranational institutions such as the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Bank of International Settlements, the World Court and, as far as possible, make local institutions less effective, by gradually phasing them out or bringing them under the mantle of the UN.

19. To penetrate and subvert all governments, and work from within them to destroy the sovereign integrity of the nations represented by them.

20. To organize a world-wide terrorist apparatus and to negotiate with terrorists whenever terrorist activities take place. It will be recalled that it was Bettino Craxi, who persuaded the Italian and US Governments to negotiate with the Red Brigades kidnapers of Prime Minister Moro and General Dozier. As an aside, Dozier was placed under strict orders not to talk what happened to him. Should he ever break that silence, he will no doubt be mad "a horrible example of", in the manner in which Henry Kissinger dealt with Aldo Moro, Ali Bhutto and General Zia ul Haq.

21. To take control of education in America with the intent and purpose of utterly and completely destroying it. By 1993, the full force effect of this policy is becoming apparent, and will be even more destructive as primary and secondary schools begin to teach "Outcome Based Education" (OBE).

Re: Freemasons and Secret Societies - What are they about?

Adama,
Check this out. Here is a brilliant excerpt from Nesta Webster's other book "World Revolutions: The Plot Against Civilization", which I'm reading right now. Here she explains why liberty and equality cannot co-exist and are mutually exclusive. Wow, women don't usually point out logical contradictions like this, they usually just say whatever is popular and sounds good, even if it makes no sense.

I guess some Western women can be great thinkers and intellectuals, but you'd never see an Asian woman talk like this, not now nor in the ancient past, ever. So the only truly great freethinking and truth seeking females are White it seems. Never Asian.

"We know, moreover, that George Sand was right in
attributing to the Secret Societies the origin of the revolu-
tionary war-cry, " Liberty, Equality, Fraternity." Long
before the Revolution broke out the formula " Liberty and
Equality " had been current in the lodges of the Grand
Orient — a formula that sounds wholly pacific, yet which
holds within it a whole world of discord. For observe the
contradiction : it is impossible to have complete liberty and
equality, the two are mutually exclusive.
It is possible to
have a system of complete liberty in which every man is
free to behave as he pleases, to do what he will with his own,
to rob or to murder, to live, that is to say, under the law of
the jungle, rule by the strongest, but there is no equality
there. Or one may have a system of absolute equality, of
cutting every one down to the same dead level, of crushing
all incentive in man to rise above his fellows, but there is
no liberty there. So Grand Orient Freemasonry, by coup-
ling together two words for ever incompatible, threw into
the arena an apple of discord over which the world has
never ceased to quarrel from that day to this, and which
has throughout divided the revolutionary forces into two
opposing camps."

So true huh? What a very aware and conscious woman. Too bad modern women don't think that well anymore. England truly did have great female writers and thinkers in the past. Even Winston Churchill praised Nesta Webster in his article about the evils of Bolshevik Communism.

Here is another excerpt in the same book where Webster talks about how the Illuminati works and manipulates society and people covertly. Isn't this such a well written paragraph that packs and condenses a lot of great points eloquently stated, in just one short paragraph? Wow. lol. Brilliant. Awesome. I love reading her words.

“The art of illuminism lay in enlisting dupes as well as adepts and by encouraging dreams of honest visionaries or the schemes of fanatics; By flattering the vanity of ambitious egotists; By working on unbalanced brains or by playing such passions as greed and power to make men of totally divergent aims serve the secret purpose of the sect. People with money were welcomed but kept oblivious of actual secrets. The purpose is to win power and riches. To undermine secular or religious government and attain the masters of the world.”

Here she explains why these world revolutions are not a localized phenomenon with local aims only, but instead are a worldwide phenomenon with global aims. So brilliant. Wow.

"The crisis of today is then no development of modern times,
but a mere continuation of the immense movement that began
in the middle of the eighteenth century. In a word, it is
all one and the same revolution — the revolution that
found its first expression in France of 1789. Both in its
nature and its aims it differs entirely from former revolu-
tions which had for their origin some localized or tem-
porary cause. The revolution through which we are now
passing is not local but universal, it is not political but
social, and its causes must be sought not in popular dis-
content, but in a deep-laid conspiracy that uses the
people to their own undoing."

Such great insight huh? Especially for a woman.

I strongly recommend you read the first chapter entitled "Illuminism" where she documents how the Illuminati began, especially if you're interested in the Illuminati. It's a short chapter and easy to follow. There she explains how Adam Weishaupt founded the Illuminati and what his objectives were, which was exposed by whistleblowers within his own group who became disgusted with it. Then she explains how eventually, in the 1780's, the Illuminati formed an alliance with the Freemasons and then the Jewish cabals, which all shared similar goals. Together, all three formed an unstoppable "dream team" of conspirators.

All three groups mutually benefited from this alliance and thus became intertwined. The Masons offered their established role in control of governments. The Jewish cabal offered their role in their control of banking and finance. And the Illuminati provided the planning, manipulation and organization to carry out their agenda through. It was the perfect unstoppable plan and conspiracy that usurped the Church and Monarchies, by outwitting and outmaneuvering them for over 200 years.

But now of course, the universe has provided us a comeback by giving us gurus to expose all this such as David Icke, Alex Jones, etc. lol

It's a chilling and fascinating chapter and puts a light on things. A definite worthy read and very interesting too.

Brotherhood, equality, freedom, they are just empty slogans, similar to the misleading phrase "spreading democracy." It's just an excuse to rally people to kill others who the elitists want them to kill.

On a certain level, the idea of liberty is really the desire to commit evil without shame. The individual freedom to commit evil, not the freedom to do good, because you don't really need freedom to do good. You're free to do good. A person is restricted from doing evil. So what they want is to loosen the bonds that prevent them from committing evil, so that they can freely commit evil without fear of getting in trouble for it.

Like women want freedom to divorce, which turns many people into adulterers and destroys society. They want to be free to be the heads of households, also known as single mothers. They want the freedom to murder the unborn, known as abortion. They want the freedom to take a man's money and his children and leave him with nothing. All that is really freedom to do evil, because all of that is destruction.

And there is no such thing as equality. There is a natural order, which is being violated currently. (Not by worth but by station.)

These poor feminists never realized that God is going to make a whole new earth where we will get to live for eternity. :) No need to put all your stock into this life. Stock up for the next one.

I'm a little confused as to why any of these people would be so approving of any entity- whether it's Jehovah, Satan, something Druid, or whatever. They're looking to bring this or that into power or to get something from them, wouldn't all of that require a stance of thinking well of them?
