How did you stumble upon the paranormal?

Post by wraith »

Cause a couple of years back, in my sophomore year in High school, i was curious as what the 'Nephilim' were. Either they were some type of reptilian humanoid, a species of 'Giant', or a Neanderthal.

So I stumbled upon an interview with Credo Mutwa, whom David Icke considers to be a genius, regarding the existence of aliens and their connection to the human race. I began to become interested in what David Icke had to say and I lurked on his forum.

In my junior year, our school had a gamer's club where everyone would just relax on fridays, playing super smash bros. melee (that was before when Brawl was out) to relax their tensions after having to deal with all this crap from high school. So I was mutual friends with the president of the club at that time, cause I knew him through another friend i knew in my pre-calculus class. So one day, we were walking with a bunch of other mutual friends, on our way to play some Magic, YuGiOh, and of course, Melee. I overheard the club president talking about reptilian beings and ayahuasca rituals. So he eventually let me read his library of books written by David Icke, and I was intrigued.

We still keep in touch to this very day, and he told me about a woman on youtube named magentapixie2012. She's somehow a psychic on youtube who answers peoples' questions and answers them as a spiritual medium.

I first got interested in the paranormal in grade school when I started reading books about ghosts. Then I started watching tv shows on ghosts and the paranormal. In college I did a research paper on the afterlife. It is a very interesting field to say the least! Here is an interesting website to check out regarding studies done on the afterlife; http://www.victorzammit.com/

I've always been interested in the paranormal and anything supernatural or fantastic. I've always been fantasy prone, so I guess that predisposed me to it too.

My mind has always been very imaginative, and I tend to live in the world of possibilities rather than practicalities.

So I didn't need a paranormal experience, though I've had them, to be interested in the paranormal. It was always a natural part of me.

Have you ever had any paranormal experiences, Wraith and Jamesbond?

I can't say that I ever have had any paranormal experiences but I know some people who have had some (dreams that have come true).

A certain friend of mine has a cousin who prefers to smoke ayahuasca and received visions from spirits.

He also told me that he always felt that he was a part of the ocean. He later told me that he had a dream of a woman in a blue dress. He was astounded that it was actually the Orisha of water and the ocean, Yemaya, he pronounced it as Yamuya. And he felt that was the reason why he was subconsciously attracted to the ocean and the 'element' of water. I'm not sure if that relates to the paranormal...

My mother's father used to take me into the woods behind his house and whistle for the birds. Wild birds would come sit on his shoulders and peck at his lips.

I always had minor things happen that fascinated me, could have been psychic, could have been coincidence; I don't even remember most of them, they were that minor.

One thing. I collected snakes for pets, and they would never bite me. Other people would try and get bitten, one guy got bitten very badly by my watersnake, but the snake just loved me.

The thing that convinced me was when I was in Vietnam. I was a combat engineer, demolition specialist, assigned to minesweep. May 9th, 1968 we set out on the road and a small snake was crossing. I picked it up - and it BIT me!

I took it as an omen, told the guys, and got laughed at. The Sgt. told me to shut up. I said, "Watch out, we're gonna get it today."

After about an hour the mine detectors started breaking down. We started with 4, and after we fixed one we were down to 2. The other end of the road had finished, and told us to hurry. Sarge wanted us to take big steps and just do a cursory sweep (not sweep the whole road). I told him it was a mistake and he put me way in back, last man in line so as not to hear me.

After a few minutes walking I looked down at the road and just 'knew' a mine was there. I called a halt and sarge came back to give me hell. I scraped the surface of the road, and there was a big plastic anti-tank mine. The brought the mine detector machines back to way before I found this one and did a careful sweep. Nothing. I found the first mine. Between my PSI and the two mine detectors we found ten mines in the road that day.

The last one was in a puddle in a dip in the road. I told them it was there. They went over it with the metal detector and the density change detector and got no signal from either one. Then one of the guys even probed the puddle with a rod designed for that reason, to see if anything was buried. He said it was clear. They were wrong, I was right. That was the 10th mine and last we found that day.

So that's how I got into PSI.

Some day I'll post more.

I'm generally not interested in anything regarding ESP and psychics other if they have predictions about the world, such as Edgar Cayce.

And Ghosts, I think they travel through different dimensions, and aren't really 'spirits', but extradimensional (or 'extraplanar') entities, such a reptilians or reptilian hybrids.

For people such as Uri Geller, he may have some 'paranormal' influence over the third dimension in some way, but I'm not a complete believer.

So I'm more a paranormal believer of the David Icke bent, as opposed to an enthusiast in PSI, ESP, ghosts, or any other paranormal believers here.

Interesting theory wraith. I too have often wondered if ghosts are just extra-dimensional entities. If they were though, why would they usually show up in places where there is some history or violent murders?

Have you heard of new houses with no history at all that have haunted activity?

I think too many people have seen ghosts to discount them entirely.

I've never heard of any new houses with haunted activity.

I'd imagine if a place where there a horrific murder take place, imagine all the energy spent to murder these people, and the amount of lives taken that way. That could have this particular place (where this act is committed) to be under the influence of negative energy.

There are places where there are ley lines and energy fields of such importance, that could cause some extra-dimensional activity.

Since everything has some form of energy, energy released in such an unexpected way would probably disrupt the 'fabric of reality'.

Ghosts certainly do exist, but i'm still wondering how ghosts come into being. I'd think they are humans/humanoids who probably died in this dimension or another dimension, and have the ability to 'disrupt' a certain area of its influence outside its native dimension.

But I think it's going off topic.
