Yelp mafia style tactics.

Italian restaurant in Pasadena California.
This was a very nice restaurant, a genuine Italian Chef was from Italy.
The food, well it's real non Americanized Italian, all freshly made and excellent service. Live classical and jazz music on the weekends. Yelp came demanding money or else. The restaurant told them to go f**k off.
Afterword's Yelp mysteriously only had very bad reviews and the good ones disappeared.

Another place, A Marinello's Beauty school.
The teachers knew or cared little about what they taught. Most of the students did not pass the State cosmetology test. A lot of pot smoking from about a quarter of the students on break times. The school was a total rip-off. It had many bad reviews from both students and former teachers on Yelp. Then all those bad reviews disappeared and a lot more good ones appeared.

Bottom line is do not trust Yelp.
