Pro-daters active in Ukraine

Post by SteveUKR » May 28th, 2018, 8:53 pm

Pro-daters are active in Ukraine especially in large cities such as Kyiv, Lviv and Odessa.

I've set up a site to warn of these scams so you can avoid them.

http://scamaware.net/

A pro-dater is similar to someone who sets up any business. Their main goal is to financially bleed dry their victims.

Here's an example of a pro-dater (scammer) operating in Odessa

https://scammers.ru/scammers/146136.htm
The girl uses dating sites to get acquainted with men and lure their money. I became a victim of her divorce for money. We met on the site of www.dream-singlesdotcom . Then they agreed in a chat for a meeting. I flew to Odessa on May 28, booked a hotel Mozart.
Upon arrival, I signed with her on the site. At 18.00 on May 29 we met with her near the opera house. Then she took me to the restaurant Caesar, said that after work and very hungry. I gladly decided to treat her with dinner. But I was shocked by the check in the restaurant, the amount was 21 000 UAH, I was shocked that for a steak, a salad with seafood and 2 glasses of wine I had to pay 21 000 UAH. The next day Julia said let's meet again, I need to seriously talk with you. We met at the Salieri restaurant. And then everything began. She burst into tears, that she had a problem with money, that she needed to pay the loan, which she took to pay for the phone and that she had nothing to pay. Everything was very realistic and I very much believed her. She even showed her passport, they say, to borrow money from her. And she said that if you do not believe me, I'll take off your passport photo, but I need your help. And I decided to help her, because the girl really cried and it was all very believable. Why I was led to this, I do not know, but everything was very believable. I gave her 500 dollars to close her money problems in the bank. The next day we again met and then a new story began from Julia. She began to say that she has health problems and she needs money for a survey. She showed me her photos on the phone and showed different extracts from the hospital about her health condition, after that she said that she needed another $ 500 to undergo the examination. I do not know why, but I was led like an old fool. I gave her money again. Our accounts in the restaurant were very large, each time the check was from 15 000 and above. The next day we agreed that we would meet again near the opera house, but she did not come, and did not answer the phone and did not answer in the vibe. I waited and wrote and called. But no one answered. The next day she did not answer me either. I began to look for the reason. By the phone number and name I found it on social networks and was shocked. She in the instagram had photos published with a man, and signed a photo that this is her boyfriend. I'm a fool. I was taken as a child, and they turned me around. I spent more than 3000 thousand dollars on it. And she began to ignore me. I understand that she is a fraud, she gets acquainted with men and raises them for money, as in other things, and me. I want everyone to know that she is a fraud! Please warn everyone about her unlawful actions! I'm still in Odessa! Let everyone know that she is a fraud!

I approve of what these girls are doing. Fools have no business being in possession of money. The faster fools are stripped of their money, the better.

BTW most Ukrainian people are very honest. I pay for my apartment in advance, using cash with no receipt, and the landlord doen't try to force me out early. They know I'm a repeat customer (same apartment as last year) and I pay above market rents and am no trouble, and they want to continue doing business with me. The sidewalk fruit sellers, escorts, previous landlords, dentists: all of these people could have cheated me but they didn't. The only people who tried to cheat me in Ukraine were the airport taxi hustlers, but I already knew about them and so took the bus.

That's about $800 just on that one dinner. Probably more than the guy's airline ticket to get to Odessa. As I said these restaurants work together with the girl on these scams.

I wouldn't say that most are honest in Ukraine. I'd say about the same anywhere in the world. I've had fruit and vegetable sellers try to rip me off because they knew I was a foreigner.

BTW - in Kiev and Odessa there's a café chain called Kompot. It's really cheap but good. Invite your date there. If she refuses she's a pro-dater.

Whenever she makes a suggestion about a place to go, google it. A lot of times they will have a website with prices. If you google Caesar restaurant Odessa you can see this review:

Scam!!!!! - Review of Cesar Restaurant, Odessa, Ukraine - TripAdvisor
https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserRev ... blast.html
December 2014, I was taken there by a girl I met on Anastasia, with her interpreter. They and the waiter tried to sell me a bottle of wine for $150. When I refused my scamming interpreter said "Why worry about money when you're in love." I thought I could control the cost, even thought I knew the dinners were $50 each. I asked for a glass of wine, but the waiter pressured me to buy a $40 bottle. My interpreter spilled a glass of wine on me, which may have been a diversion. The two had been in the toilet area for ten minutes after the food came. When I went to find them, they were in a serious discussion, probably discussing plans for ripping me off. Somehow she ordered some shrimp and without telling me. Charged 10,000 grivnas 400$ for dinner for three. They had the audacity to press me for tip. Me the idiot paid (same as jhakimmd this June, so I don't feel so bad). My travel agent told me about another, who got scammed, maybe at another restaurant. When his bill came, it looked like it was for ten people. he also said they give girls a small cut. Total scam. Wish I had red reviews beforehand. Never go here!!! Google maps street view shows it's being remodeled. I hope the owners are in jail.

You guys are missing the obvious. He shouldn't have flown over there to meet her in the first place! Not if it was his only reason for going.

You DON'T invest in a woman more than she invests in you. Or else you open yourself up to being taken advantage of, whether that be through an outright scam like this or the more common everyday scam of woman feigning interest to get men to buy them shit.

Don't go to a restaurant on the first date.
Don't pay for her on the first date (nor the second or third, really).
Don't hand over money to someone who hasn't earned your trust.
Don't travel long distances to meet someone you don't know.

Any financial perks that come with being together with you are a privilege she needs to earn.

Hell, this goes for all relationships you have regardless of gender.

While I do not approve of what these girls are doing, I otherwise agree, that what I read here is plainly stupid. Some men are acting like a blind sheep, running after every woman who offers a tearful face and telling fantasy stories.

To pay USD 800,- in low-income Ukraine (lower income than Philippines!) for a dinner sounds like a bad joke.

Interesting data-bank with over 5000 pictures, thanks to SteveUKR.

However scammers are everywhere - here in Asia are plenty of such girls who are cheating out of men a considerable amount of money all the time.

Thai women are good cheaters, in Philippines the same, also in China etc. etc.

You cannot say, you didn't know that - the internet is full with information about what to do and how to refuse unreasonable demands coming from women.

Really good video. Watch it before going.

I was in Kherson a couple of months ago and didn't run into any of this. My theory is that it is a smaller city without lots of agencies or tours, so they haven't started this.

The current exchange rate is 26:1 USD:UAH, so I just use 25:1 in mental calculations. Shorthand: UAH100 = $4 UAH500 = $20, etc. If an item on the menu is over UAH500, you may be getting scammed. I have never spent more than $50 on a meal in Ukraine. Maybe a top restaurant in a big city will be more, but don't go crazy. I really can't see spending more than $100 on a date. Be able to do math in your head. Also, only carry the equivalent of a few hundred dollars (I usually carried between UAH2000 and UAH5000), if the prices are too high when you look at the menu simply tell your date you haven't exchanged enough money yet. Be aware of what's happening.

Single malt Scotch, being imported, is expensive. I usually paid around $10/100ml, which is about what I pay here in the US, or maybe a little less. Wine from Kherson is boring, but inexpensive. Wine from Georgia is much better and not that expensive. Try some of the distilled liquors from the neighboring countries as well.

About flowers, roses in Kherson were from UAH20 to UAH50 in the flower shops and there were flower shops everywhere. Even where the shopkeepers don't speak English, which was almost everywhere, pointing and smiling always worked for me.

Uber isn't everywhere in Ukraine yet, there's money to be made by making a multilingual app for getting taxi rides there, even if it doesn't do all the payment stuff. And the most expensive taxi ride I had in Kherson was UAH135 going all the way out to the airport. Learn what kind of taxi fares you can expect.

I would say get familiar with restaurants and cafes in whatever area you are and then when you take a girl on a date take her only to the ones you are familiar with. Sure she could still order an expensive plate of seafood but don't take her to that type of restaurant if you can't afford it.

In this video Strykr lists at least 5 scam restaurants in Odessa

As Stryker notes at the end of his video, time is indeed precious, and I stupidly wasted 15 minutes of my precious time watching his video. To spare the rest of you my fate, here is a summary. He tried Tinder and Badoo. He failed to try Mamba.ru and Love.ua, which are also big. I also recommend Elenasmodels.com because women there are specifically selected to be interested in marriage to a foreigner. On most regular dating sites other than Elenasmodels, women who speak English and are willing to meet foreigners are usually whores or scammers (whores are honest about wanting money, scammers are not). He doesn't like glamour photos, but that is a Ukrainian specialty, which shows how little he understand Ukrainian women. Almost all Ukrainian girls, even the poorest, get professional glamour photos and are very proud of them. Doesn't mean they are whores or scammers. He concludes that dating apps are a waste of time. For those men seeking a wife to move to their country, I would agree, other than for Elenasmodels. He then suggests marriage agencies, but I think these are just as likely to be populated by scammers as any dating app. My conclusion is that Stryker is a complete newbie about dating in Ukraine. He needs to read the RooshVForum Ukraine related threads, among other things.

Here's some truth. All young Ukrainian women, other than very conservative religious girls who none of you will ever meet, started having sex in their teens and have had multiple sex partners. They are all sluts in other words, just like all western women. Many of them were sponsored by sugar daddies like me while at university and so are whores as well. Soft prostitution (sugar daddy or sponsor arrangements) is far more common in FSU than in the USA. The best Ukrainian women get married to Ukrainian men, so all that foreigners get are the leftovers, who are unattractive or have psychological problems of some sort, or financially struggling divorced or widowed single mothers.

Divorced or widowed single mothers are an excellent choice for older men wanting a young wife. Problem is that these women will likely divorce the man or cut off the sex supply if he brings them to the USA. If the older man moves to Ukraine, divorced or widowed single mothers are an excellent choice. She will not divorce and will not cut off the sex supply because if she does, back to being a financially struggling single mother.

Another possibility is to wife up a professional whore around age 30 who wants to get out of the business and start a family. You definitely need to move to Ukraine to make this work and be prepared to abandon both wife and children if she misbehaves. Former professional whores will be ruthless about taking advantage of weakness in men, but they have many advantages if the man is strong enough to handle them. A man who can threaten to leave Ukraine and go back to his own country at any time is in a very strong negotiation position.

My experience, at least with Tinder is there is a mix of everything - escorts, pro-daters, masseuses and legit girls.

But the most that speak English I think you will find on Tinder.

Another good way is just approach receptionists that work in hostels or hotels. A lot of guys have success with this. The worst she can say is no.
