Is China-Tesol Foreign Teacher Recruiter Legit Or A Scam Age

Post by Perky »

These people have been spamming the hell out of me and the offers get progressively better. They sent me links to some great reviews and they say they are part of the Chinese Ministry of Education. It appears to be a very old operation run by a foreigner who put his photo on the web site. Maybe people said negative things about this company but my thinking is if it is already 5 years old and they are part of the Ministry of Education, they have to be on the up and up right? What do you guys think? Thanks for your feedback.

Always Google search teacher reviews on agencies in China: most are rubbish and will rip-you-off, anyway possible. Your best bet is to be DIRECTLY EMPLOYED by a school or training center--that way, you can cut-out the middle man.

Also, Dave ESL Cafe and ESL Teacher Reviews are some of the best sites out there, to check-up on potential recruiters.

China-Tesol is a SCAM - targets expat China Foreign Teachers

What timing! I was just researching this subject after receiving what looks like a fake job offer from Geoff and his wife in Australia. This clown claims to be on the board of director of SAFEA - a Chinese government agency!!!. Anyway, I was searching the internet and found 19 complaints on the first 20 pages and here is where you can find them blacklisted...

Thanks for the photo. The guy even looks like a crook. It turns out he is the former CEO of Dell English in Beijing that the Chinese government shut down for tax fraud four years ago!
