Working Abroad vs. Working in America?

Post by Wolfeye »

Hello, all. I was wondering if I could get a comparison between working in another country & working in America. I guess I'm looking for a general rundown of things in different regions (ex: America / Eastern Europe / Western Europe / Asia / Latin America) & if possible, different countries (ex: Czechia/Spain/Russia/Brazil/Philippines).

I get this could be a bit hard to nail down, but I gather that Germany is WAY different from Italy- for instance. Which places aren't too hair-splitting about a foreign white guy working off the books? Any good ones for teaching someone English on their lunch break & things like that? What about working at hostels for my room & board? I've heard that I can do janitorial stuff/bartending/etc... to pay for my stay.

Trying to head overseas this year & am looking for this to be the start of a permanent move, so a rundown of the work environment would be helpful.

If you're abroad you either need passive income, TEFL, or a remote job.
