IT3 reporting for duty.

Post by Pollux »

How's it going y'all. I've been lurking the forums for a while and I enjoy reading everything y'all post. I'm originally from Colorado and joined the Navy to see the world.

Big mistake.

Getting out in less than two years and traveling abroad my own way. Just thought I'd get in the mix and introduce myself.

Welcome to the forum Pollux. Where are you currently stationed right now? I was lucky to be stationed in the U.K. and saw a lot of Europe as a result and I wanted to travel abroad ever since. I'm planning on leaving the US of Gay soon and be somewhere in Asia in a couple of years or sooner.

I woke up to the truth after I was in the Air Force and 9/11 happened; that's when I became 'awake' as it were and became suspicious of our government since then. I always knew the U.S. was socially dysfunctional and messed up, but never got my finger on the button until that time.

Howdy! Currently stationed in Norfolk Virginia on a CG. I've seen a lot of the world, but in a very unconventional way that I didn't very much care for. It's much more accurate to say that I've been in many of the worlds bars. While I enjoy my job I also feel the same as you about the government and the pretense that we're fighting these wars under and I will be separating myself promptly from the madness upon the end of my enlistment.

Hi IT3,

During the year before I left the US, I was trying to decide between teaching English overseas and joining the US military--and I'm very glad that I chose the former!

You're not a Navy diver, are you? I've always thought that that at least looks like the best job in the Navy: you get to go to dive school in Florida, you learn all kinds of cool things about SCUBA diving and other types of technology, swimming is good exercise, etc.

Hey, it's great that you've decided to start posting! Feel free to tell us more about yourself. However, if that's your real pic & if a young man in uniform is messed around by American Woman, then the USA is truely a graveyard for men.
"Woman is a violent and uncontrolled animal... If you allow them to achieve complete equality with men, do you think they will be easier to live with? Not at all. Once they have achieved equality, they will be your masters." Cato the Elder
