Tired of the dating scene in the US

Postby GoingAwol » Tue May 26, 2015 10:34 am

Hey guys!
I'm 24 and I was born, raised, and still live in the southern part of the u.s. The reason I'm here is because I'm sick and tired of the messed up dating scene here in the u.s. I have been ignored and treated like a cockroach by women/girls my entire life despite being a decent looking and nice guy. And it's not as if I haven't tried! I have tried very hard to meet a nice woman through every possible means and it hasn't amounted to anything. For the longest time I thought that I was the problem and something is wrong with me but I have come to realize that this problem is alot bigger than me. I have met tons of men in my day to day life that are single and struggle to meet women that are interested in them. Meanwhile.... The most unattractive women seem to be able to be extremely picky. To put it bluntly the dating scene in America is one-sided and the women have all the power. Just look at the internet. There's tons of American men making videos and blogs where they rant about how messed up the dating culture is for men. The worst part is these discussions only exist on the internet. If you try to talk about this stuff with people in real life they will deny it. So basically our culture is messed up and nobody wants to acknowledge it unless they are protected by the anonymity of the internet. This is why I will be leaving this country in the future to try my luck elsewhere. I will start school in August and plan to pursue a degree in Education. Upon graduation I plan to get a job teaching English as a foreign Language so I can get out of this country for awhile, see the world, and hopefully find love. Anyways, that's my story. I'm happy to be apart of this community.

Welcome GoingAwol, glad you found our forum. You are right, the dating scene in America is one sided, all in women's favor. That's why guys need to travel to foreign countries to get a feel for what the dating scene is like in other countries.

Thanks James Bond!
The dating scene here in the states is truly pathetic. Its pretty sad when the average man has to put in tons of effort and deal with tons of rejection to get women that are mediocre in every way. I'm tall, decent looking, and friendly and I can't get any women that are remotely attractive to give me the time of day. I have never had a girlfriend and the only sexual experience I have had was with a fat woman I wasn't even attracted to. It was so bad that I couldn't even "keep it up" to penetrate her. I get on dating sites and can't even get a reply, much less a date. And the women on dating sites are largely overweight single mothers. I'm just tired of this crap....

What state do you live in GoingAwol? I live in Illinois and it's known as the "Land of Lincoln" but it should also be known as the "Land of Land Whales."

The women here are morbidly obese and the few thin, attractive ones are getting asked out by guys left and right! I am thinking about relocating to either Florida, Texas or Arizona within a couple of years. I hope to god the women in those states are more in shape and better looking than the hideous looking land whales here in Chicago!

I'm from Illinois too. I never had problems getting dates or girlfriends around Chicagoland area. I don't get why you guys are struggling with American women. AW are like pornstars in bed. How can you communicate with a Russian or Thai girl if you can't even speak her language? Do you guys have any social skills at all?

Everyone is different. Not everyone fits in America. Does ketchup go with everything? No it only goes with things like hamburgers, hot dogs and fries. It doesn't go well with ice cream or fruit. Not everything can be mixed. Likewise not all people fit into American culture.

Social skills are a myth. See here:

Winston, explain Chinese culture to me why are you guys so frugal and intelligent compared to the Filipino?

Why does China want Taiwan so bad? Aren't you Taiwanese like part Japanese or something?

People say I ask too many questions but I have an inquisitive mind that never stops learning. #humility

Another thing is that in your intro thread, you said you were a gang member, druggie, bad boy, with tattoos, burglar, etc. Well those types do well with AW. Try being a nice decent guy who is wholesome and see how far you get with AW. lol

Chinese are different than Filipinos because of both culture and genes. Our genes contain the traits and behaviors of all our ancestors. It contains their genetic memory. Chinese are better at running businesses, that's why all the major businesses and industries in Philippines are run by Chinese or Chinese-Filipinos.

China doesn't want Taiwan "so bad". They just don't want Taiwan to declare itself independent or else other provinces may attempt to do the same. Like any ruler, China does not want to appear weak or too lenient, as to allow provinces to break away. Rulers have to appear strong or else they will not be respected or feared.

Taiwanese have Japanese culture in them, but I don't know about Japanese genes. They may share a common ancestor though.

Winston you know me oh so well! We Filipinos are essentially brown Americans. We openly embrace American culture. China is really pwning the Philippines on a geopolitical scale over the South China Sea. There is no way PI can defend it from Chinese naval power.

China is a regional power in Asia but it doesn't want to be an aggressive empire. It is a trading empire that's why its biggest customer USA needs cheap Chinese manufacturing to make Apple iPhones and the stuff at Walmart. You Chinese are very business-minded because of DISCIPLINE. That is something a Filipino mind lacks.

Don't you agree Mr. Wu?

Jeyan Calderone,
So you fit in with AW? Congratulations! Of course you realize that American women are usually bad wives and girlfriends don't you? Finding a good one is like finding a needle in a hay stack.

Social skills are a myth. It's usually a shaming tactic used by women to shame men they find unattractive. The bottom line is you can connect with anyone if they are open to you.
I used to think that I lacked social skills but then I realized that I could easily connect with people that are open to meeting me. American people are not open to outsiders generally... This is especially true of American women.
