greetings from US

Just a short hello. Im a US automation guy that is finishing a BS in engineering and hopes to get a second passport and possible even relocaten in a year or two. Paraguay seems to have a simple and cost effective option. I have to wonder what an "investment" actually gets you there? Something that creates a living there?
In general I disapprove ofthe direction the US is headed and im somewhat intrigued with the possibilty of opportunities elsewhere.
