Repatriate, I'm not saying that I don't fall into that group of women, but the qualities you listed don't really apply to me.
I'm not an uncritical feminist, so I don't buy into the belief that men are somehow sex-crazy idiots.
My standards are somewhat high, but they have everything to do with morals and character, very little with looks, and almost nothing to do with wealth. Industriousness, drive, and passion are really important to me. I believe these can be found among various income levels. However, I'll give you that I prefer a man with a bachelors or higher.
I can be sarcastic, but it really takes a certain level of comfort before it gets anywhere near the direction of caustic. I crack jokes sometimes. Sue me.
Yes, lots of American women are promiscuous (as are lots of women around the world). I'm not one of them.
Yes, lots of people are untrustworthy. I've never been described or proven as such.
Class is almost entirely subjective, but I believe that I have some morals and integrity, even if I disagree with you on some things.
Again, the focus of my original post is defining and describing femininity in a general, universal manner, not describing what it's not.

Here's the thing about American women. Everyone believes they are this exception to the rule. Typical femist forums are full of this rationalizing and avoidance of self assessment. All of these types of women believe themselves to be virtuous and "nice" people.
I am reading what you are saying about yourself but how you are in reality is another matter altogether. Actions speak louder than words. If you just go by broadly accepted behavior American women are very much cut from the same cloth.
There may be real exceptions or outliers but they are very rare from my experiences. It's like a needle in a haystack.

If it better illustrates the point, I'm an INTJ, so I'm pretty scrupulous when it comes to self assessment. My biggest flaw is extreme shyness, followed by perfectionism. I'm acutely aware of myself. That's not just my conclusion or observation but also that of pretty much anyone who's known me. I base all of my statements on others' observations and remarks about myself. People have repeatedly remarked about how "surprisingly nice" I am. Examples of actions would be serving others before myself, focusing on others in conversation, making sure I hold doors for people (especially the elderly), complimenting people, packing snacks with others in mind, and giving constructive criticism in an objective manner. Obviously not an exhaustive list, just what I can think of off the top of my head. I've also given a "creepy" vibe because of my somewhat peculiar behavior, if that says anything.
I'm not really concerned with qualifying as an exception in your book. I'm just seeking advice/perspective on a specific topic.

Thank you!Repatriate wrote: I'll be very blunt. You'll soon discover that your views as a feminist are wholely incompatible with this site and others in the manosphere. H.A. may possibly be the only place where you can come in and start firing off typical feminist marxist rhetoric without getting banned immediately.
.....
American women are socially brought up to shame men.
.....
Most American women use double standards when it comes to social exclusion.
.....
American women tend to be aggressive and snarky.
.....
American women are highly promiscuous for the most part and will sleep around well into their 30's and then expect to marry a man with money, house, and a great job who will take care of them.
.....
American women are not trustworthy. Family court has ensured that women always have the upper hand and alimony laws are punitive and completely unfair. This makes marrying an American woman a huge liability.
.....
Your average American woman just has no class, morals, or integrity. All this is very unfeminine and degenerate in my mind.
Excellent summery, just let me replace 'American woman' with 'Western woman' - believe me, it is not better in EU, UK, Australia...
It's all about me, me and me - to take as much as you can and to give back as little as possible.
About feminism, it is impossible to claim to be a feminist while being willing 'to treat men fairly and as equals'.
A woman claiming she wants to treat men fairly and as equals is not a 'feminist', but more likely a 'humanist'.
Feminism in its core is ALWAYS a hateful movement - most hateful in USA (Anglosphere) - it is a highly materialistic orientated movement. It's about to take something away from men, but also from large companies and public funds, which does not belong to you, but you think it's yours, solely because of the female gender. I consider feminism as a special form of gender-related extortion.
@abg98
Openly said, your views as a 'feminist' are incompatible with those few forums which are considering 'men's issues' as their priority.
Happier Abroad is a forum which takes care of men and their social problems.
This forum and a few others were created to give straight MEN (and not women) advice how to look for FOREIGN female friends or even relocation to foreign countries, about international marriage away from USA, etc.
Of course your comments are welcome, this forum is not much into moderation, but please be aware you might receive replies you maybe strongly dislike as a young woman living in USA. Nobody here feels sorry for you. This forum is not a place of so-called 'white knights'.
