I was trying to raise this further up the forum as it's such an important issue but I can't see how to start a new topic further up.

There are a majority of dating sites that are scams. I notice Mr S put this on one of his posts

Globaladies was one of the first sites to scam me years ago and they are still going. I wote to a couple of girls and I got the same letter back. I was told that I had more letters waiting for me so I paid for them .... guess what? Same letters of which I ended up paying for several copies not realising the scam.

I know from personal experience on my first dating trip that some of the women there at the social are prostitutes. They take you off to the shops and get you to buy them things. Luckily some where pointed out to me by the translators.

Very useful. I was able to tell a workmate that he was being scammed by a Russian girl by using this list.

Finally - using someone like Eduard is the ideal thing to do because he can check them out or have them checked out for you.
